To my surprise, I have never used my Amex for online purchases as I prefer to use my Visa to purchase goods. I only use my Amex for TM bill payment which is done via M2U (for 5% cash back) and I have a lot of retail transactions at many places (Tesco, Giant, Starbucks, Uniqlo, Tangs, AEON, Shell) on my previous month.

My brother only has one Google checkout transaction and some retail purchases, and what we have in common are Giant, Tesco and AEON (he doesn't use Shell for petrol). This matter is really subjective and can it be somebody jot down the card's details while making payment at the counter?

since behind that 3 number is quite critical, why not just use 1 sticker(cannot see thru) just to stick on these number "?
ppl that handle the card for payment also cannot see the number ..

For Amex, the security number is the 4 digits (front side of the card)

I usually just take a pen-knife and scrap out the numbers at the back or on the front. It's not that hard to remember those 3 or 4 digits cos I usually only keep use one visa/master and one Amex for retail transactions. The other cards I just keep in my safe at home for online bill payments.

Looks ugly, i know, but I don't care lol

I HAVE TWO PIECES OF HUSH PUPPIES CASH VOUCHER THAT REDEEMED FROM MAYBANK TREAT POINTS.

I WAS SO PISSED OFF YESTERDAY.

WENT TO HUSH PUPPIES, SAW A SANDAL NORMAL PRICE RM219. THEY ARE HAVING MEMBER DAYS PROMOTION. NORMAL DISCOUNT 30% + 5% (MEMBER).

THE T&C OF THE VOUCHER DID NOT SAY MUST BUY RM200 AND ABOVE.

THE STORE SOLELY SET UP A RULE SAYING I MUST PURCHASE RM200 AND ABOVE BASED ON NORMAL PRICE, AND ONLY ONE PIECE OF VOUCHER IS USED FOR A PAIR OF SHOE.

THINK ABOUT IT, RM219 *70% *95% = 145.60 (PAY BY CASH)

IF USE VOUCHER, RM219 - RM50 (ONE PIECE ALLOWED) = RM169.00

WHICH IS MORE EXPENSIVE?

EVEN IF I WANNA BUY A DRESS SHOE FOR WORK, I SAW ONE NEW ARRIVAL RM369, I ONLY CAN CLAIM ONE PIECE OF RM50, WHICH IS ABOUT 13.5% DISCOUNT. WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER RM50? THE VALIDITY IS 6 MONTHS ONLY.

LUCKILY I ONLY BUY TWO PIECES.

IF I KNEW THIS EARLIER, I WOULDN'T BUY HP VOUCHERS WITH MY TREAT POINTS. f*** OFF HUSH PUPPIES.

THE STORE OUTLET IS IN ALOR SETAR, KEDAH. (SMALL TOWN, BAD SERVICE)

Maybe you should inform/ask Maybank about this, since the T&C did not say anything about buying RM200 and above?

Guys, I got a quick question here.
I've just got my Maybank2 cards but I don't see any payment due date in my internet banking.
Does it actually count from the day when I first swipe my card and take that as the payment due date?

You'll know when your statement is out.

Your statement has a statement date.

Payment due date is 20 days from this statement date.

You only have to pay for what has been billed to your statement.

You can ignore unbilled transaction till next bill cycle.

Thank you for the information!
So if I didn't use it at all by 20 days, will I still get the statement too?

Totally different policy from Alor Star outlet.

HP in Penang Gurney or QB Mall?

I think I will go to Penang HP.

Alor Setar one did not know anything and discriminated on me.

I could perceive that they were trying hard to declare themselves as not part of Transmacro Concepts Sdn Bhd so they made me not to buy at their store.

They turned me down by stating other conditions that wasn't printed on the voucher. Below points are what they've told me.

1. One cash voucher can be used for one pair of shoe.
2. Purchasable item must be having an original Price of above RM300.00 then revised to above RM200 (after nego).

I deeply felt unsatisfied and disappointed and even have a flash crossed my mind to tear off the voucher in front of the freaking sales personnel and throw back to them!! The vouchers are useless!! Being discriminated and being looked down as a low purchasing power person feel real bad!!

First I walked into the shop, I was window shopping for a while and a sales girl passed by and I called them. To save my time, I showed them my vouchers and asked them to suggest me what I could buy. I was looking for a dress shoe for work. They are shocked, unfriendly, and totally not servicing me when they saw the vouchers. This made me no mood at all in browsing on the display deck for my purchase. I deeply felt that It was kinda a discrimination and bias on a voucher purchase. I could feel that they thought the vouchers are FREE OF CHARGE and my purchase would make them turn into a lost. They ended up saying the extra conditions as above illustrated. I did emphasis to them that I have paid to redeem the cash voucher from Maybank Treat Points. I could have redeemed anything else other than your vouchers, but I did not. It's better to redeem KFC vouchers at least they did not discriminate on me.

Good for you. In my case, 5 vouchers must buy 5 pairs of above RM200/pcs value of shoe.

u read the tnc on the remaining cash voucher carefully, you should know whether u can use it during promotion and if only can use one voucher per transaction

if it did not mention both, you should be able to use the cash voucher as CASH. I would then suggest you to call up HP hq and complain to them

btw, is that hp located at star parade? if it is, email to feedback@transmarco.org or call them up directly. And YES, i agree with you that Cash Vouchers are supposed to be equivalent to CASH

What does the "exact T&C" written behind the voucher provided by Maybankard redemption ?
I know Hush Puppies have Birthday voucher RM50 which one voucher can used for one transaction only.
