how long will you wait before lodging a complaint on missing miles?

Flew on 24/9 with AF and 6/10 with KLM. no sign of miles yet.

My AF miles were credited quite fast but for a couple of QR flights I had to wait for close to 6 months and had to send tons of email to get it done.

Lucky you bro. I was just 4000 miles short last Dec to move from Gold to Plat and they did not want to upgrade me.
If I had the time, I would have just flown somewhere to get the miles instead.

funny, I flew with QR few months back and I got my miles in pretty quick.

Malaysia Airlines is having some ridiculously cheap business class fares ex-HKT

HKT to LHR (via KUL) in business is roughly THB 41k or about RM5k. Good for those looking to qualify for status!

How do you all know these things?...do you make trial bookings trying the same destination from different origins?

Some do. Others (like me) read flyertalk The PEN/JHB to CDG/AMS mistake fare (RM1,200-1,400 return on QR Y) earlier in the year was flyertalk. The cheap return on QR J from CMB-BOS (RM4k) was amazing too. Unfortunately far more good fares from US to Asia than the other way.

Or alternatively you can set google flight alerts. The multiple origin/destination feature is a godsend although I've not found mistake fares yet. KUL-JFK on SV J for RM7.5k, KUL-CAI on SV Y for RM1.2k. I check one a day or so, too lazy to set email alerts.

Got a SMS from CIMB yesterday, informing the promo is about 70% off Enrich redemption to London. Nothing else was mentioned so we still have to wait for the official release.

and just found their booking website is pretty useless...did not capture one booking, in spite of being done while logged in....not possible to change booking on line (option there but always blacked out)....online i see an earlier flight for rm200 extra....and when calling their CC the fare is full price 1000 extra!!....
