I think they made a BIG error. What they mean is normal rate is 150,000 RETURN but now is 90,000 RETURN for J. The 300,000 is an error i think. Otherwise, are they joking or what? bangwall.gif

Class of ticket

150,000 one way is correct for C class, while 75,000 One way is for Z Class. You are probably allowed to change your ticket with a C Class ticket but essentially it is still only a business class seat. I didn't read up the difference so pardon me if this is wrong.

http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/us/en/enri...rich-miles.html

But it is silly because if you browse through most of the date within the promo period, the system show you the lowest Enrich Miles required which is 75,000 one way. This essentially means that the business class promo is as good as none which lead us to the first class that is not better than their last minute promo few months back of 78k Enrich Miles one way.

this is big, big fat troll by MH.

Exactly, even before the promo, the lowest Enrich Miles required was also 75,000 one way. It is still 75,000 one way within promo period AND OUTSIDE promo period, which means, there is no change at all.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........either it is a big troll or somewhere there is a mistake and I believe it is the latter...

Sorry, does that mean that what I have been seeing before promo for business class is the basic at 75,000 one way? Now, the promo is 75,000 for smart one way? What's the difference in class anyway? Still business right? Maybe lack flexibility to change that's all. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Correct, that's why MAS screw up most of its promo. They spent money to even making hoo-hah, advertising this (frequently appearing on FB and other website), but it so sucks that I think nobody will ever redeem it

The promo for SMART is 90k one way but because the system show the lowest miles required which is Basic at 75k one way (No promo). Unless you call and ask for a SMART ticket (not so smart then) or on that particular day the Basic tickets are sold out, then you will be able to book the SMART ticket (stupid ticket actually)

The whole marketing team should be fired to come out with such confusing campaign...well at least to me. The website showing basic and promo chart showing smart before and after and what not....wtf bangwall.gif

the redemption website is poorly constructed....it defaults the lowest redemption class...without options to choose a higher redemption class...doesn't display any promotion discounts....(unless you are regular and know the normal miles, you wouldn't know if it's discounted)...

the entire mh online system is bad....their booking website has been buggy for a long time....sometimes cannot capture your bookings automatically although booked logged in....cannot capture bookings with pnr entered...cannot capture enrich redemption bookings...and obviously separated from the enrich website...

most other airlines automatically captures all bookings done in your name/ff number....see everything in one site....

hi all,

need some help here. this may sound noob as i'm trying to redeem my enrich miles for the first time :

1. when redeeming flights with enrich points, the airport tax has to be paid by myself? in other words, the points do not cover the airport tax?

2. i compare the price that i have to pay by Enrich points + cash ( as i have insufficient points, hoping to use the points to offset the ticket price) with the price quoted in Mas website, found that the price from Mas is way cheaper than the price from Enrich website.

so, if buying with enrich points is more expensive, then what's the points of using it?

1. airport tax has to be paid by using credit card/debit card, no choice of using enrich points to pay the tax (the points do not cover the airport tax), have to pay separately.

2. Enrich points + cash might be more expensive if you redeem short haul economy flights.. only good thing is to redeem business class and mid-long haul flight..
