You've tried QR F? How did you find it? SIN-DOH leg will be on A350 (no F) but would love to try out QR's A350.

SIN-AKL flight time is around 10 hrs. I will be dropping by Melbourne (try out EK A380 F for AKL-MEL) before returning home via SYD-SIN on Suites Class. And you read wrong: I've never been to NZ and am a big LOTR fan

I think I'm converting to KF before the seats are gone. Can't believe it but KVS is showing plenty of availability for two seats on several dates that actually align with my schedule. Same with QR to CDG/LHR.

I've never tried QR F, have been on J on their 787 which was fantastic, and on their A340 which was meh.

I definitely recommend New Zealand though, was there some years back and am definitely planning to go again. I have enough miles for SIN-AKL-SIN in J for the family but it's impossible to get more than 2 J seats on Air NZ so I might just go to New Zealand twice next year heh.

You could potentially break the journey SIN-FRA and FRA-JFK as KF allows you to do that by paying a bit extra. This might increase your chances of getting the Suites for 2.

Was is via the dreaded SMS? Next flight MH or oneworld airline? Sorry bro, I know how it feels.

Both SMS and email.

Called MAB and luckily they allow me to change after I explain the reason at no cost. The re-timed flight is from enrich award, the next flight would be MH again KUL-LHR from AM one-world multi-carrier award. Phew.

yeah, if not mistaken, from their General T&C, any re-schedule causing any trouble to you, you can ask them to provide alternative solution or ask for refund.

Its towards the end of the year and im currently still lack of 4 elite sector to hit gold status, which means i need at least one round trip business class, or two round trip in economy. Looking for any tips or tricks beside these? Can it be purchased or anything? Need advice

Enrich program is a joke honestly,you better look for AM or KF.

Back to your question, fly cheap Econ domestic flight. Cost you around rm400 if you really want enrich GOLD

the best is do 2x roundtrip such as JHB-KUL
or do 1x JHB-KUL-KCH roundtrip (jb to kuching, transit KL)

Can appeal or not? I also facing similar situation. Short of 90 miles to be upgraded.

The miles has been greatly reduce since June this year. Else I would have easily upgraded n now come to year end n still short of little bit.

Not sure if upgrade to business class ll get more points?

You may not like Enrich but if you hit Enrich Gold you'll get Oneworld Sapphire privileges. Free lounges on Oneworld airlines, can't complain...

I hv Cathay Marco Polo Diamond, Etihad Gold, Turkish miles and smiles Gold and Enrich Blue haha

Used to be Plat with Enrich but has log switched as they revised the redemption chart, cut routes, 737 for 5 hrs flight, soon to be gone A380, 'fake lie flat' seat, no more frequent z fares promo and many moreeee

yes, there are cases people get to maintain their status, try your luck by calling the enrich center.

upgrading your seat will not get you any more point, for example MHupgrade or Enrich redemption, upgrading via these method they will change your fare class to "I", this fare class will only accrue the miles of your original ticket


unless you pay the fare different between you current economy fare class and business fare class, like from Y class you pay the diff to upgrade to J class, then you will accrue extra miles.

MPC diamond? after their april 2016 changes, do you foresee you will be able to maintain the diamond status?

If you are Sabah/Sarawak based, consider MH D (operated by MASwings) between short city.

The changes made me easier to get DM actually. Once I get 1800pts I will change my travel pattern to other partner
