Agreed. Drive faster give better fc. I notice that maintaining speed at 110kph on highway give better fc than cruising at 70kph, tested both using auto cruise.

Added on December 23, 2012, 9:59 pmBtw, anyone installed Rike Cool tint? My SA recommend this tint with security as they got offer 800 instead of 1200. Mind to share what tint brand you installed n the cost...

I usually don't exceed 120KM/H on highway. What's your FC reading by maintaining 110KM/H?

Im not sure, but i think few rules hav to be followed to get hyper miles.
Going to try 2nd tank with normal driving behavior

In fact, i usually drive wif eco mode on too. I off it when i know im going on highway which required no brake n sudden acceleration.

So eco mode is required while driing around the city? It gives better FC as braking and accelerating are more often?

When Eco mode is on, climate-control operation is minimized and throttle control regulated to boost vehicle efficiency. <-- Theoritically

Acceleration is retarded, give even smoother yet slower acceleration to avoid sudden/over acceleration. Thus, FC is better. A/C i dun feel much diff actually <-- What i feel.

I observed the opposite.
105km/hr =22- 24km/l
95km/hr = 26-27km/
85km/hr= 29 -30km/l
60km/hr = 33 -34km/l

These were observed for PJ -Melaka trip, about 160 km

Really? Sound like it depends on the driver's behavior and route case I guess?

I drive 65km (home->work->home) per day daily. This is the way i drive:

1. When battery is charging using fuel (on a straight road), drive abit faster by constant slow acceleration to boost recharge.
2. When battery is (almost) full, try to drive at 60km/h by using battery power only.
3. Drive faster when going down to the slope, drive with constant speed when climbing a hill by allow battery power kick in to assist.
4. Always forecast the traffic at the front, start releasing pedal to let the car roll slowly if stop is required soon, drive as if I dont have to brake.
5. Avoid idling. Always.
6. Accelerate gently.
