Just asking, has anyone found a way to enable dvd on when the car's moving? Not that i really want to do it but if it's doable, i hv a chance to watch my fav movie while my man is driving biggrin.gif

Added on December 23, 2012, 9:59 pmBtw, anyone installed Rike Cool tint? My SA recommend this tint with security as they got offer 800 instead of 1200. Mind to share what tint brand you installed n the cost...

Alignment and balancing, (RM60)
full syn oil, (RM209)
window washer, (RM2.3)

petrol inj cleaner (never ask for that, but they did for me, RM41.50)

The gear ratio is fixed, means only 1 gear. You can find the explanation here: http://eahart.com/prius/psd/.
"B" = engine brake, equivalent to low gear engine traction while going downhill by disengaging the regenerative brake.

thanks a lot...after read still not really understand and what is the different with conventional gear box... rclxub.gif

Hi All,

Attached Image
Curious that at the front page there is a "Tips and Tricks for driver and owners" which put example for tire pressure i think is very high. Suggested/normal PSI should be around 32-36PSI right???
is that ok for our tire in 44psi ....? just wonder blush.gif

We tried several times unintentionally. My father and myself carry a key each, then my sis drive the car. But she can no longer drive the car once we are out from the car (she did not turn off the engine) and it prompted cannot detect the key.

It was often in the papers that a Prius would need a new battery after 100,000 miles. Now we are hearing that not one has had to have it's battery replaced to date!  smile.gif

in fact how long our PC's battery warranty? 3 or 5years? and any limited mileage?

IINM, 3 yrs or 100k, even for batt....

My calculation for the battery cost..

Lets say use for 400k KM so the operating cost per km will be 8k/400k so is RM0.02/km

Lets say use for 200k KM so the operating cost per km will be 8k/200k so is RM0.04/km

Lets say sell the car before the above mileage 0 cost.....

Besides, some is getting like RM0.05 or RM 0.09 per km is almost same as modded 150cc or a 250cc bike....(figures obtain from fuelly.com)

If put to consideration of both, per km petrol is only about RM0.07 to RM 0.13, still lower than conventional cars

but i heard the SA in toyota centre said battery warranty 5 years... so i wonder it is true o not rclxub.gif
