Sure can there a reason why the phone is registered thru something they call e-warranty. They will have an indication when the warranty started

got my phone yesterday thru the MOC promo but phone badly scratch and dented in less than an hour after i got it.

Dropped in on a rough surface and one of the sides are damaged sad.gif

I even took their extended warranty for accidental dmg cuz i have a feeling i'll need it.

hmmm

was on monx v2r1 for 1 day and all is well

changed to the perseus kernel v29 yesterday and this morning got a stuck at "android" screen

i have no complains on battery life though. seems pretty normal to me.

however, i found a STweaks app suddenly on my phone. i wonder what is it for?? anyone changed anything there? and is perseus29 set to boot at 1.6Ghz?

most of the settings in STweaks I dare not touch, left it in default mode, I only tweak the headphones amplifier higher due to my earlier complaint on the soft radio volume.

Perseus comes with stweaks to tweak the kernel. Have not had any issues with perseus so far. But there is a new version 29.1 that fixes wifi for some people and random reboots for some people.

Not possible for perseus kernel at user level. Usually most kernel makers do not allow this. May cos issues at the expense of a few seconds is not worth it. tongue.gif

Edit: Isn't it already at 1.6ghz?

Just for all your info, people who is running monx with perseus is not running at default perseus settings. Monx rom init.d have a script that changes pegasus governor parameters. wink.gif

I called Maxis to ask about it but they just simply say if I am not member, then I cannot take the promo...

Why not you just take it to samsung service center. Sure get genuine parts, if you are sme set warranty should remain and their price is comparable to other repair shops (well at least you will be sure they will not overcharge you).
