I was told you must at least be a Maxis subscriber already n you can opt for rm999+rm1000 advance payment but commit to 24 months plan about rm140 (3gb data n rm70 call/ sms) per month compulsory payment. So worth only if you do spend so much a month. The rm1000 will be rebate back to u over 5 months

Just verified I am not member cause I normally use rm125 per month.
I did call maxis but problem they said no member cannot.
I willing to pay the advance payment of rm1000, why they don't process it?
Anyway to ask them to give me this promo?

since you are a maxis subscriber for few years back... think you better go directly to maxis center and do the subscription...

@kevinpss has given you the wrong info. The RM999 promo is strictly for MOC members. Since you are not, you are not entitled to it. As simple as that.

However, as a Maxis subscriber, you can choose the other available plans/packages. Log in to Maxis or go to their centre to check/enquire.

I'm already on memory swapped mode for weeks.

For those who have not swapped their memory, have anyone of you tried moving files, data, games to SD card by using directory bind? if yes, how do you find this method? those moved files,data and games still running perfectly?

is it enough to just only to use the internal memory of the phone and not buying a sd card. Cause i am planning geeting a note 2.
Will it effect the performace of it , if there is not sd card?

My friend only less than a year postpaid subscriber manage to get it at RM999+RM1000 advance payment. He got it in the first week Note 2 launch by Maxis . That was at Batu Pahat Maxis Center. He find package worth as his monthly bill averages RM300+ a month (with a signed up RM75 3.5 gb data plan )
I think you need to speak to the Maxis Center again or try another center

so basicly i just buy a sd card and just slot in and use ? just like nokia phones?
or is there is special settings for me to set

i use the directory bind method. mostly because int2ext swap has the potential to be incompatible between kernels, plus i quite often take my sdcard out and about.

so far no problem with the directory bind method. mainly it's just apps like gps data, ea and gameloft games that takes up the bulk of space, so i just bind those few. now my int sd has about 6gb free despite having over 150apps.

why ? u not satisfy with the swap mod ?

did u try to check if u eligible or not in Maxis One Club site?
