I'm about to get my note 2. What should i do to check the note 2 to see if there's any faulty parts??

got my phone yesterday thru the MOC promo but phone badly scratch and dented in less than an hour after i got it.
Dropped in on a rough surface and one of the sides are damaged I even took their extended warranty for accidental dmg cuz i have a feeling i'll need it. |
