i read from xda development, it says:

1) Download attatched file ('default_gain.conf' inside 'VolumeMods.zip')
2) Use a file manager or ADB to push it to "system/etc" (back up existing file first!)

how do we push the file to system/etc?

the swapped memory zipped file> system > etc> (is this the folder)? in this etc folder also can find the int.it thingy.

did that, copied and pasted that into that folder, but the shutter sound is still there... how to do it actually? mind guiding a noobie please? thanks bro....

Yup, rebooted, but the shuttle style still there.
I'm in Stock room 4.1.1. Latest Perseus kernel.
4.1.1 cannot turn off the shuttle sound in camera setting.
Any idea how?

Can anyone advise me how come my radio volume is so soft? even I turn it to max ad also no feel 1, the Max of 15 volume is like 7 or 8 only. So soft that I can barely hear anything.

What should I do to restore my volume?

I'm on Perseus kernel, previously was ok, any idea how?

nope, on stock rom, but I don't think I mess with the tweaks before.. dare not to simply touch it, maybe I should check into the STweaks, meanwhile, also reading some from xda and see if the mod to increase volume will do wonder for me. cheers mate.

i tune the headphones amplifier from 50db to 57db, being 63db the maximum. is this advisable?

the volume increase quite significantly. I'm just afraid that it might destroy the speaker in the long run...

Sorry, I was complaining about the fm radio volume is too soft, so I think I got it right by tweaking the headphones amplifier only from 50db to 5db. this is good enough for me, thanks.

but on the other hand, I tried copied the second file "Volume.db to system/etc to disable boot sound and camera sounds"

i copied into the system/etc, but the camera sound is still there after rebooted. hmmm.... how should I do this ar.

most of the settings in STweaks I dare not touch, left it in default mode, I only tweak the headphones amplifier higher due to my earlier complaint on the soft radio volume.
