im still happy with my phone after nearly 4 weeks of using it almost naked all the time. my ip5 is still like brand new no scuff or whatsoever

Anyone did applied for the zagg invisible shield? and how was it, does it worth to buy?

black, just take in and out from my pocket and lay it on tables most of the time nothing get scratch

Mine was perfect when I got it. After a week or 2 use, the black paint from the sides came off!!!

Note, I am very careful. Left side of jeans only for IP nothing else, no keys or coins.

This means, it is prone to scuffing... it doesn't matter if you get a good one. I hate cases and never used one on my IP4, but looks like I need one with IP5. I however laminated the back. But the sides are unprotected.

Just realize yesterday that my phone has scuff under sunlight. Barely notice if there's no sunlight.

Yes iphone should be use this way, they made is lighter and thinner but we make it bulkier with case.

Just got my black i5 from celcom penang centre yesterday just had a quick glance. When I went to get the screen protector only noticed that at the back near the apple logo, there was 2 white dots protruding out which was unremovable by cellotape. Wondering whether those are scufffgates or not, but even if it is, not really bothered to get an excahnge as I'm not from penang and it would be really trouble some to get a replacement.

Just to share my experience at Maxis Seremban yesterday.

iPhone 5 16GB Black
Open 1st box - Side of the home button cracked.. yes the glass cracked!
Open 2nd box- Scratches at the side
Open 3rd box - Scratches at the side again!

Finally they don't allow me another sealed set to open but offered me 2 options - (1) Wait them to get approval for warranty replacement for the scratched set or (2) issue me full refund.

I decided to get a full refund as I think there is some serious quality issues with these batch. Later managed to get my hands on a Malaysia Apple Store Sealed Set.. perfect condition at last (production week 50)

i just noticed a tiny dent at my sim card compartment iphone 5..this happen when i carefully inspect my phone..one thing i learned..the more u inspect the more dent u will discover..

Mine only has a small white dot right above the silent switch nothing major.

For those who hate cases.. for IP5... there is no choice... . Just found a 3rd spot on my black IP5 where some silver is starting to show...

Lucky mine was perfect , purchase during po at capsquare, original sp for sgp covered front and back and rm 15 case bumper to cover side

Well some people don't like case

Me also included but I rather use a side bumper so I can grip the phone more securely

And I'm using a thin side bumper rubber so phone won't feel to bulk

Am also using a cloth pouch cover so I can put the pocket jeans without worrying it get scuff when I took out from pocket


Proven not scratch at all now

i would rather use a thin case than put in a pouch. so troublesome everything u have to take it out from the pouch when u wanna use the phone

Got my replacement set. No scuffs detected. Just did a normal glance through and it looks good.

Ur replacement set is new wan or refurbished?where u buy ur iphone 5 from?

Normally replacement should be refurbished sets.

Digi offer me replacement set,still thinking should i exchange or not.they only can told me apple told them is brand new iPhone
