I actually tune down the vibrancy of my Note II colour from Normal to Natural after i used the Nexus 7 and find the colour nicer. laugh.gif Viewing those Phohography Magazine with great photo in nice colour is really so enjoyable on the Nexus 7. thumbup.gif

Colour washed out is normal with Nexus 7. But the text sharpness should be about the same with S2. Any screen protector on your N7?

More and more users reporting in. Mainly are N7C users though...

Your variant. Nexus 7 32GB + Cellular

Anyone ever think off buying the original asus nexus 7 cover and paste a small rare earth magnet on the backside of the front cover to activate the sleep/wake function? Saw one person done it before and did it pretty well.

Hi guys.

Need some help.

I received my nexus 7 3g 32gb last week, and currently on stock software version 4.2.1.

My problem: Google Now works perfecty well on wifi, but does not work when I'm connected to Celcom 3g.

Using chrome, I am able to surf the internet, and search using google. But, when I use google now (the bar) via voice or by typing, I get the following errors:

"Can't reach Google at the moment" by voice,
or
"the web page at https.....might be temporarily down or..."

I'm using the following celcom APN:

Name : Celcom 3G
APN : celcom3g
MMSC: http://mms.celcom.net.my
MMS Proxy : 10.128.1.242
MMS Port : 8080

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I have both a Nexus 7 16GB Wifi and an iPad mini 32GB Wifi.

Honestly, they are both good in different areas.

The higher price for the iPad mini can be justified by the availability of certain paid apps. I also prefer to ready books and browse the web on the iPad mini because of the bigger screen. I like iCloud auto-sync, A LOT. 3D is better on iPad mini (shockingly... I thought Tegra 3 was the bomb).

For everything else, such as Papago M9, I rely on Nexus 7.

Choose wisely folks!
