QUOTE(kezman @ Dec 12 2012, 01:22 PM) i balik kampung also once a year only... if balik kg can bring in PS3... Either way I want to collect today. Either newegg or ss15 for 3g. Hmm but it uses micro sim right? I have existing broadband stick (for work), wil maxis give me free micro sim upon request? lolerrmmmm... for surfing at home, i think wifi is cukup la... so elliminist? u take today? QUOTE(green_algae @ Dec 12 2012, 01:24 PM) depends on your usage(email,fb,twitter). Hmm yalo, can spend the money on other shiz. And front page seems like got way to use OTG and connect broadband stick,LOLfor me i'll just get the 32gb wifi and spend the rm 200 on sp and casing. Think like kezman, I'll use it mostly at wifi location (home, etc), but just a matter of convenience. Additionally I suppose I can hotspot via my phone |

QUOTE(Erehwon @ Dec 12 2012, 02:29 PM) Yeah Maxis problem. It came back Hmm think imma get wifi version oso. kezman u picking today? What time u angkat ah? Added on December 12, 2012, 3:25 pm@kezman: Been doing some research: http://www.service.asus.com/#!Tablet%20Warranty/ctzm - Link from the front page: mentions something about North America Did more digging this mentions similar thing under notice. Dono if this means North America can or limited Anyways, since tak faham, I called up ASUS service : 03 2053 5077. The guy said he can't be sure unless I give him serial number (which I don't have), but he believes US purchased products don't have this international thing. It's limited to their region. So now I'm back to 3g model I think This post has been edited by ellimist: Dec 12 2012, 03:27 PM |

QUOTE(Erehwon @ Dec 12 2012, 03:36 PM) I got my broadband as microsim on day 1 when I registered but I think maxis will change all normal sims to Micro sims for RM10 as they treat it as a loss =\ Or u can be nice and they might do it for free lol. Yours is 32GB + 3G, or just 32GB?I just bought a cheap RM6 sim adapter to I can change as I like between 3G modem in a 3G router for wifi or direct in N7. The serial number should be on a sticker below the speaker hole starting with CBXXXX something. I registered my unit with ASUS with no problems. Methinks their product registration is international. The link from their Msia website goes to the global one Yeah if can register then should be fine one I suppose Added on December 12, 2012, 3:41 pmAs in yours purchase locally or import stuff like the newegg? And which model This post has been edited by ellimist: Dec 12 2012, 03:41 PM |

The build quality is pretty solid so I dont forsee the need to return that soon Was looking through also, seems like most agree newegg one can, although newegg sendiri claim kenot Here This post has been edited by ellimist: Dec 12 2012, 04:06 PM |

Ok, newegg called:
They called ASUS, ASUS say their current unit not covered here, i.e. need to send back to newegg for shipping. I think it's more of in principal this might be true, but generally the service centre will close eye and honor warranty anyways? |
