Hi guys.

Need some help.

I received my nexus 7 3g 32gb last week, and currently on stock software version 4.2.1.

My problem: Google Now works perfecty well on wifi, but does not work when I'm connected to Celcom 3g.

Using chrome, I am able to surf the internet, and search using google. But, when I use google now (the bar) via voice or by typing, I get the following errors:

"Can't reach Google at the moment" by voice,
or
"the web page at https.....might be temporarily down or..."

I'm using the following celcom APN:

Name : Celcom 3G
APN : celcom3g
MMSC: http://mms.celcom.net.my
MMS Proxy : 10.128.1.242
MMS Port : 8080

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Update: found the solution to my own problem. With the sim card in place, with wifi on, I could not access most google services like google now and google play. This was true with 3g disabled or enabled. I have tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the apps, rebooting multiple times; but with no results.

My solution, I removed my sim card and rebooted, and all the google services worked well with wifi.

They continued to work when I reinserted the sim card.
