Through the Cooler Master website:

https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/power-...0White%20Series

Actually the review only targets the 500/600/700W MWE v2, which is made by a different company, but the MWE v2 550/650/750 ones are fine:

hmm, okay. at least it's a different SKU.
Rm219 for 550W bronze is a tad ex though. Similar 80+ bronze for FSP can get 600w though.

but not sure how the FSP platform fares against the MWE V2 FR though.

Was reviewing a lot of cards and found that 1660 super and RTX 2060 is relatively same price. Which to choose?

More than enough, your hardware doesn't really pull a lot of power icon_idea.gif

A quality 500W is more than enough for your build, so look for this as a starter:

That's a very old PSU (and based on a very old platform), and I think it might be better to get something in the line of the NZXT C650/Enermax Revolution D.F./XPG Core Reactor icon_idea.gif

Yeah it's as old as my current rig, I was thinking if it's still capable of driving it I can save myself some bucks without changing it. Oh well, looks like it has to go.

Thanks!

Guys,

Need your valuable inputs here

My SilverStone ST50F-ES230 kong yesterday after almost 5 years plus usage. Its not totally kong, but there is some weird noise and i cannot power on the system. When i press the power button it powered down instantly in 2 seconds.

So looking forward to get cosair VS550, but need some clarifications here.

my system is not a gaming pc.
basic system with following spec:

Pentium Gold 5400
ASUS Prime H310I-Plus CSM
8 gbDDR 4 ram
NO GPU, im using the one built in with motherboard.
I have a usb 3.0 hub plugged in
usb speaker.
wireless keyboard and mouse

So my doublt here is, am i really need this cosair vs550 or can i consider something cheaper.

I used to use cap ayam psu long before, but so much problem with usb devices plugged in. until my friend told me to get a decent psu which is the ST50F-ES230.

Please advise.

Even if you have a low powered build, a good PSU is necessary unless you want your PSU to take out your hardware in the event of a PSU failure sweat.gif

Go for something in the line of a MWE White v2 or the Bronze v2 (note the v2; as this is a very different unit over the original v1 model) icon_idea.gif

Hi, need some recommendation here for future build:

Ryzen 5 5600/X
16GB Kingston HyperX Predator
1050 Ti
500GB HDD
256GB NVME

Is this one ok?
1) Silverstone Essential Gold 650W (PSU Tier List - B)

Or recommend me any somewhere RM300++ or below. Thanks

Looks alright I guess? hmm.gif

https://aphnetworks.com/reports/silverstone...et750-hg-750w/3

https://bit-tech.net/reviews/tech/psus/silv...-750w-review/1/

105C Japanese caps as the primary caps, which is better than the MWE Gold v1's 85C rated caps hmm.gif

650W is massively overkill for that machine though tongue.gif

There's also the Segotep GP600T though (note that this is a 500W unit, not 600W):
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/segotep-...HvbJ21&search=1

The Enermax Platimax DF mainly uses this platform, but with full Japanese caps instead of the Taiwanese caps you found in this Segotep unit (in fact the China domestic version uses CapXon caps instead of Teapos that we get here) icon_idea.gif

I think what I saw is a different version, not semi modular one.

https://shopee.com.my/Silverstone-Essential...3178.3321967840

Do you think the same caps used in this one? Good enough?
