For the build below,

Ryzen 5 3600
Asrock B550M Steel Legend
16GB 3200
2 M.2 + 2 HDD
ZOTAC GTX1050 Ti (No 6 pin)

Is Silverstone 600W (SST-ST60F-ES230) / 700W good enough for this build? Thanks

Overkill, and that one is not particularly a good PSU either - go for something like FSP Hydro/Hyper (budget oriented) /Gigabyte P550/Super Flower Leadex Silver instead icon_idea.gif

That PSU is based on a very old platform, and is known to have out of spec power ripple on minor rails (3.3V and 5V) icon_idea.gif

I see, cause I can get that one about 80 after voucher at All IT. Probably gonna use the voucher for something else. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. thumbsup.gif

Hi, need some recommendation here for future build:

Ryzen 5 5600/X
16GB Kingston HyperX Predator
1050 Ti
500GB HDD
256GB NVME

Is this one ok?
1) Silverstone Essential Gold 650W (PSU Tier List - B)

Or recommend me any somewhere RM300++ or below. Thanks

Looks alright I guess? hmm.gif

105C Japanese caps as the primary caps, which is better than the MWE Gold v1's 85C rated caps hmm.gif

I think what I saw is a different version, not semi modular one.

Do you think the same caps used in this one? Good enough?

Is it common to have coil whine on a new PSU? It is a Silverstone ST65F-GS.

Edit: Tried upload .aac but doesn't work.

Yes, and unless the coil whine is very audible, this shouldn't be much of a problem icon_idea.gif

Only audible when I stick my ear near the PSU. But the sound is there even when the switch on PSU is off (wall plug power is on). This one is also ok?
