My specs
Intel 6100
8GB x2 2666
120GB SSD
250GB SSD
RX580 4GB
H110MK Mobo

What's PSU i should get below RM200. I use online PSU calculator and it consumed not more than 450watt. I plan to use 500watt. Is DK 5.0 500 Bronze ok?Or CV450?
How about getting 80+ White? Not planning to upgrade in th future.

The Corsair one should do (don't think I'd go for the 1stPlayer unit) - alternatives like the Hyper K 500W should do the trick fine too icon_idea.gif

Can I have the full part list? hmm.gif

It should be fine, but I'll probably will recommend something like the XPG Core Reactor if you can spend a bit more hmm.gif

Hi, i went to another pc shop and they quoted me a pretty nice rig but a corsair cv650 650w bronze psu.
I'm not good at PSUs so i don't know what to say but this psu seems quite cheap to be true. Same specs 16gb ram, ryzen 7 3700x ,rtx2060 super

Wouldn't bother with that one - low end design, meant for entry level gaming machines icon_idea.gif

Do you think the cooler master MWE Gold 650w would work well on my setup? Or should I push my budget to 400+?

My rig has these symptoms where it will fail to start and die immediately after I pressed the power on button, when it dies, I have to either wait for about 10-15mins before I can press the power on button again as it is not responding, or I just pull out the ATX power cable from the MOBO and plug it in again. I'm pretty sure the cable is securely plugged in and is not loosen.
Sometimes it also auto rebooted again during the windows booting process and even freeze in the midst of operating the windows, e.g playing youtube video. Replaced MOBO earlier but issue still persists. Spec as below -

AMD FX8320
GIgabyte 970-Gaming MOBO
Windows 10
4GB x 2 DDR3 RAM
Radeon HD7850
Sandisk SSD 500G SATA
WD HDD 500G SATA
Corsair VS550 PSU

Not sure if the issue related to PSU but seems like it, so just wanted to look for a PSU replacement that is within the range of RM200-250++. Very light gaming, youtube, drama and MS Word/PDF works most of the time.

Any recommendation, sifu?

that's quite an old rig. PSU assume also an old unit right?
if you can't boot upon pressing power button, very likely PSU KO dy.
can consider:
FSP Hyper K 500W 80+ white - Rm161

you can actually chat with the seller from lazada and bring your unit over to their shop for checking
see if you can score a free quick test from them provided with the promise that you'll buy the PSU if proven faulty

Yes it is a pretty old PSU which I bought it together with my build 8 years ago biggrin.gif

Thanks for the recommendation, I'm also looking at the FSP Hydro K series 600W. Would this overkill?

no, not really extra headroom for the system is always better.
plus the price diff is not too huge, also the Hydro K is 80+ bronze which has better power efficiency too.

Ok got it. Can I say, Hydro K 500W is more than enough for my usage since its power efficiency is better with 80+ bronze , correct?

Guys, im using fractal design node 202 with their Integra SFX 450W PSU, my spec as below:
ryzen 5 3600
MSI B450 gaming ac mobo
1 x m.2
1 x SSD
2 x 8g ddr4 ram
1050ti GC
Im planning to upgrade my graphic card to RTX 2060 super, went thru a few PSU calculator, it seems like 450w is adequate. What you guys think?

Yup, your PSU should handle that just fine icon_idea.gif

Another possible option:

Cooler Master MWE White/Bronze v2 (note the v2 as this is important; the v2 is a much improved version which is made by a different OEM and uses a more modern design) icon_idea.gif

Cooler master depends on the OEM partner of that particular model, some really not bad. I bought CM V1200 Plat for Rm500.

Apparently there's two variants of the MWE (a full range one and a 230V one)? sweat.gif

Seems like the 230V variant (which is sold here) isn't exactly a good one:

Wow, how did you find out there’re diff variant across region. swt, then how do we even confirm if the review unit is the same as the one we’re buying locally.

Through the Cooler Master website:

https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/power-...0White%20Series

Actually the review only targets the 500/600/700W MWE v2, which is made by a different company, but the MWE v2 550/650/750 ones are fine:
