Good Morning Guys,
Can anyone help me to understand how Annual Trustee Fee work? I dont quite understand if a Fund says that its Annual Trustee Fee is "Up to 0.08% subject to a minimum of RM18,000 per annum (excluding foreign custodian fees and charges)" How will this affect my potential profits/losses? |

Rising bond yields and market correction
Market focus has concentrated on rising bond yields and fears that higher inflation will spur the Fed to raise interest rates. However, as our Chief Economist Frances Donald mentioned in her earlier note, we believe that markets have been overemphasising the inflation aspect of the Fed's mandate. This is why we are skeptical that the US central bank will taper its quantitative-easing measures any time soon. Indeed, in our view, the employment side of the mandate will restrain the tapering conversation until at least the third quarter. It’s also worth noting that although the Fed has signaled it’s unlikely to add any additional easing aimed at the real economy, the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of Canada have all made it clear that rate cuts remain on the table. While we don’t expect these central banks to cut rates, we believe that relative monetary policy divergences between the Fed and other major central banks are only going to get wider. The one exception here being the People’s Bank of China, which is in tightening mode. @Manulife This post has been edited by Cyclopes: Mar 3 2021, 08:52 PM |

It was introduced to me by one of their managers... Ask the manager to provide you with the detailed performance chart... Especially during some of those "bad" period like during Mar 2018, Mar 2020 n now Mar 2021...see how the that fund prevented more losses than also during the good times how much "performance fees" they charged...I'm a newb in this and a bit apprehensive due to the minimum requirement... Then see if you liked the the returns generated on a 12 month rolling duration to justify if you think it is OK to pay them that much. And make sure you don't need to touch that 100k for some years WhitE LighteR liked this post

Benchmark is 8% p.a Minimum = 100k, subsequen = 50k ( u mmg kaya) sales charge 2% Performance Fee and Hurdle Value (i x faham ini) The Manager will earn a 20% performance fee on the appreciation in the NAV per Unit on the respective Classes (MYR Class, USD Class, SGD Class, AUD Class and GBP Class) over and above the Hurdle Value during a Performance Period. However, in the interest of investors, we impose a Hurdle Value, which is HWM plus 8.0%, in which the Fund’s performance has to exceed before we are eligible for a performance fee Mostly in china , us, some in korea, taiwan hong kong , germany, singapore. https://affinhwangam.com/invest-with-us/lis...tails?q=ARF2HCF https://nadiablob.blob.core.windows.net/fun...FFS_ARF2HCF.pdf |
