Good Morning Guys,

Can anyone help me to understand how Annual Trustee Fee work?

I dont quite understand if a Fund says that its Annual Trustee Fee is "Up to 0.08% subject to a minimum of RM18,000 per annum (excluding foreign custodian fees and charges)"

How will this affect my potential profits/losses?

Accrued and deducted in daily basis from daily NAV posting.
The annual trustee fee of the fund is shared among all the unitholders.

Rising bond yields and market correction

Market focus has concentrated on rising bond yields and fears that higher inflation will spur the Fed to raise interest rates. However, as our Chief Economist Frances Donald mentioned in her earlier note, we believe that markets have been overemphasising the inflation aspect of the Fed's mandate. This is why we are skeptical that the US central bank will taper its quantitative-easing measures any time soon. Indeed, in our view, the employment side of the mandate will restrain the tapering
conversation until at least the third quarter.
It’s also worth noting that although the Fed has signaled it’s unlikely to add any additional easing aimed at the real economy, the Bank of England, the European
Central Bank, and the Bank of Canada have all made it clear that rate cuts remain on the table. While we don’t expect these central banks to cut rates, we believe
that relative monetary policy divergences between the Fed and other major central banks are only going to get wider. The one exception here being the People’s Bank
of China, which is in tightening mode. @Manulife

BIMB Investment launches Makmur myWakaf Fund

KUALA LUMPUR: BIMB Investment Management Bhd launched the Makmur myWakaf Fund (MWF) on Wednesday which is for investors who wish to channel a part of their investment returns for wakaf purposes to underprivileged communities in Malaysia.

BIMB Investment is the first fund management company to structure and design a wakaf unit trust fund, hence, introducing a new investment dimension into the fund management industry in Malaysia.

In a statement, BIMB Investment, a unit of Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, said this is the first Wakaf featured unit trust fund under the Securities Commission Waqf-Featured Fund Framework that was introduced on Nov 12,2020.

It is also a qualified sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) Fund under the SC Guidelines on Sustainable and Responsible Investment Funds.

BIMB Investment chairman Mohamed Ridza Mohamed Abdulla said this product is unique as it combines Shariah-based principles in mobilising funds for the betterment of society.

Hi

I am thinking to start my investment and still currently finalizing my choice. I looking for any investment institution with stable profile that offer medium and high risk. But my issue is i dont have big chunk of money to invest one shot. Therefore i looking for something which offer monthly basis investment. I would like to know if any sifu here can recommend me. In my list now:

Kenanga
Prubsn
Rhb investment

I look at their profile and seems promising but not really know how well they doing. If anyone can give me recommendation, that would be great. Looking forward for any reply and input on this.

Hi all Sifus, would like to ask your opinion on the Affin Hwang Absolute Return Fund II, which requires a minimum 100k investment. It was introduced to me by one of their managers...

I'm a newb in this and a bit apprehensive due to the minimum requirement...

Ask the manager to provide you with the detailed performance chart... Especially during some of those "bad" period like during Mar 2018, Mar 2020 n now Mar 2021...see how the that fund prevented more losses than also during the good times how much "performance fees" they charged...

Then see if you liked the the returns generated on a 12 month rolling duration to justify if you think it is OK to pay them that much.

And make sure you don't need to touch that 100k for some years

Global Mixed Assets fund

Benchmark is 8% p.a
Minimum = 100k, subsequen = 50k ( u mmg kaya) thumbsup.gif
sales charge 2%

Performance Fee and Hurdle Value (i x faham ini) sweat.gif
The Manager will earn a 20% performance fee on the appreciation in the NAV per Unit on the respective Classes (MYR Class, USD Class, SGD Class, AUD Class and GBP Class) over and above the Hurdle Value during a Performance Period. However, in the interest of investors, we impose a Hurdle Value, which is HWM plus 8.0%, in which the Fund’s performance has to exceed before we are eligible for a performance fee

Mostly in china , us, some in korea, taiwan hong kong , germany, singapore.
