other than that, would u mind to explain what is RHB-OSK Management Fund in Fundsupermart?
is this like an imaginary bank which we can temporarily keep our money without any additional charges?

my target is to keep my saving for about 7-10 years minimum with target profit around 10%-12% per annum.
any recommendation which fund should i go?  notworthy.gif

more info on Cash mgmt. fund....

hmm.gif "my target is to keep my saving for about 7-10 years minimum with target profit around 10%-12% per annum".
Investment involves many risks....what you can get to see and judge are based on their past performance results...as usual past performance does not means possible future performance.
if you believes the funds "can still" perform and go for another 10 years.....with the same "past" performance...then can try goto
FUNDS INFO/FUNDS SELECTOR/click generate table....there you can see the 10 years annualized funds returns....select those that has high annualize returns
(counter check with Morning Star rating website to see their ratings...if you want)

but there is this article that is useful...
Avoid Using Your Rear-View Mirror To Invest
http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=3744

normally it is advise to form a portfolio of funds....that suits your risk appetite....

Keep Your Risks In Check
http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=5825
"For instance, you might have thought you are an aggressive investor who can cope with a high level of risk. However, in practice, if you find that you always panic too soon every time the market dips, and get overly euphoric and pump in more money whenever markets are on a roll, then high-risk investments may not so suitable for you because they are likely to cause you to lose money".

noob question about UT disposal.

since withdrawal was from EPF Acct 1 (20% of excess balance), if I dispose all my UTs, where does the fund+profit goes?

back to EPF Acct 1? can I instruct the fund credit back to Acct 2?
*
hmm.gif wow....if can then it will be good for those 50+ ....
can withdraw a/c 1 do invest,...sell back to a/c 2, then withdraw all from a/c 2.

it was a question...

what's the correct process? UT disposal goes back to EPF Acc 1?
*
according to this almost similar one....
Q: When I sell units that were purchased through my EPF Account 1, do I get a cheque for the proceeds?
A: The proceeds will be credited directly to your EPF Account 1.

Hi Fellow Investors,

Appreciate any comments or advise on what to invest out there. I am currently holding the following investments:-

LOW RISK
1. AS1M, ASW2020 & ASM - avrage return of 6% per annum by ASNB
2. Fixed Deposit - average return of 4% per annum

MEDIUM RISK
1. East West One Oil Palm Planter's Scheme - annual return of 8% per annum over 8 years. Interests paid every quarter and full capital repayment on maturity.

HIGH RISK
1. IgoFX copy trading of Vladislav performance - average monthly return of 11% (as of March 2017). average 16% per month for 2016, average 15-30% every month since 2014

Kindly include in your comments the expected return and investment risk of the product etc, if possible. Many thanks
*
hmm.gif since you had just mentioned an average MONTHLY track returns of over 3 yrs...shouldn't the risk classification be changed?
ex.....you had an average of 16% ROI per MONTH since 2014......

I think, risk classification should not be related to ROI per month......

Kinda headache on their fees... need to study what to charge what not to charge and so on.
Then how the POEMS SG makes money?

i dont know how safe it is goes online, worry when goes ceases, what will happen to my $$. (old folk minded yet, still studying how secure it is)

Not all funds contribute dividend ya? so for those fund have no contribute dividend, profit can only makes when buy at lower price, and sell at higher price ? just like share market?
*
yes,...It is always good to study, understand, weight its cost about the fees and charges to be incurred both knowingly and unknowing to you before investing in unit trust funds.

in the online platform there are FAQs to answers common queries related to something like "what if it ceased operation?" "Is your invested money safe if it happens?"

"Not all funds contribute dividend ya? so for those fund have no contribute dividend, profit can only makes when buy at lower price, and sell at higher price ? just like share market?"
yes not all funds contribute dividend (UT calls them dividend distribution)
after dividend distribution...the price of the fund (NAVs) will drops....
thus the monetary value of money you have in that fund will remains the same.
so got dividend or not.....no impact to one's wealth

yes,...something like buy low sell higher just like stock markets.....

Hi, I am thinking want to open a PRS account as I want to utilize the PRS incentive from govt. However, I got some question and appreciate if anyone can assist the matter.

I aware that initial purchase for PRS is RM1k in order to get RM1k incentive from govt. Once the incentive is credited into my PRS, do it need to top up RM1k every month??
*
no....
once you reached the RM 1k investment within the time frame to qualify for the PRS Youth incentive....you can stop....
