I like cycling very much because cycling is a very interesting game but I did not participate any cycling competition. So, its not necessary for me to buy any part of bikes. But I want to know details about the all parts of bikes.

it might not be as simple as that, the spoke lejgth might be different between the elite and sl

furthermore i believe the red spokes are counter balance spokes meaning they are made heavier than the others

This counter balance looks damn sui, just like a gurl wearing red lipstick, so kissable.
My bike so dull leh...like old hag, in need of makeup.

Forgot to introduce myself. I am a newbie, and I mean it. First few month after buying my rd bike, I treat it like a trophy and gather dust for months. Why, the clipless shoe to daunting for me. Scared fall down, very painful and worse still, malu..sial.
Till now, only done 200 odd kilo.

My story on how I started.
Initially wanted to buy mountain bike, but stock not arrive for more than 2 months after ordering one at unker's place. I visit on and off, got poisoned deeper somemore. Then one day, one damn Sui Jarbo brought along a Cr1 team, and packing it up for England to study and ride over there.
Then I think got potential for plenty more classee chick in the scene. So I also wan a bit of the action, and simply hantam one hangging on the rack of my size. Converted straight away to rodie after encountering the poison kind.

Then problem, no sidi shoe for the size I wan, another 3 months down the rd, shoe arrived, new problem, no c.chick around to give me confidence, i was day dreaming that, no matter how weak my legs are, I think i cannot be too far off from the ladies, right? I am dead wrong, my first outing, a simple slope also got my leg muscle throbbing and want to stop leh.
So a blessing in disguise that I didn't follow unkle's invites on one of his ladies infested rides... Or else kena pui! sweat.gif
So end up, my bike collecting dust at home doh.gif after my maiden ride.
Wan more stories from newbie like me?

Added on November 18, 2012, 12:44 amMinizian, u improve a lot, ho? You started with crash, then cramp, then knee boh sui after doing just 20 km. Now you are 3 times better than me, can go 60 -80 km.
Oops...just realize my typo error, I mean 200 km in all for my previous post and not Kilo.
Is it your upgrades to your emc or your legs got canteburol brows.gif
I think after more post from you, i think you will be beating some of the regular guys here and make my more jealous brows.gif

you're pulling our legs with tat chick story of yours...

get your ass off the couch and start pushing the pedals again...chick or no chick...

and to top it off, i dun think the chicks join the sport expecting to find mr.universe or the next bradley wiggins in every rider...gender equality right? nothing says a chick has to ride slower than you and you should not be bothered by it one way or the other...

if you are and you really gt your ass whipped, there is always he ride more and train harder route...

jus go out and enjoy the ride dude...let shit be shit... jus enjoy he rides

hey, you look at mah bike and i bet you start weeping...i don't even bother sexying it up anymore... its a waste of money and doesnt improve my motivations and drive for riding

This thread is for roadbikes only ah... Anyway, my today's cerita on my foldie experience. Saw many roadbikes also today. I have to admit, I feel a little small next to them. It feels like they are big boys and I'm a kid. Haha.

teach me some, boss

descending GS in pouring rain was unnerving. i've made the right choice when i chose to buy ksyrium SL instead of a carbon clincher. saw one dude with his bike on the roadside. i assumed he overshot and fell. he had deep carbon wheels, descending GS in pouring rain

there used to be zedtech division in zipp where you can customize your zip... like a different color lock ring, ceramic bearings, carbon hubs like those used by htc highroad...

the rare triplet laced ala fulcrum 2:1 version of the zedtech rear wheel
user posted image

another more normal one.. can customize the stickers and anodization of some parts.. no performance difference most of the customization...

why not just wait next year LTDL 2013???... wait for the telekom or team malaysia to pass by and push down 1 rider and rob him of his apparels...

you just need to spend money for bus fare and washing detergent, and maybe a 1.25liter bottle of dettol...RM50 max?

geting highlands is your best chance since they will be riding like slow pokes... and you can stand on the roadside to watch...hahaha

never gonna get disc equipped road bikes... feels damn weird with or without the fugly lever..

yes, sl3. performs like any other bikes i guess. i can't tell the difference. i've only owned 3 bikes so far. the first two, i got the sizing wrong. one alu, one carbon. the current one, sl3, i got the sizing right. so can't really make a comparison.

in le tours of the past 13 years...

pinarello won twice (oscar pereiro 2006 by default and wiggo 2012)
BMC once (cadel evans 2012)
Trek won nine times (banned doper 97-2005, berty 2007 & 2009)
Spez won one time (sissy schleck 2010 by default)

the results speak for itself... if you discount the banned doper... it is on par with trek..and if you look further, it could have won another couple of tours with ullrich and kloden by the disqualification of the doper...

Added on November 19, 2012, 2:03 pmspeaking of the doper himself...
