my work requires me to wait for things to run while sitting in front of the computer... so, yes... at times while looking at the screen watching the thing run... i can work on other things...

it's called multitasking...

R5 is a climbing rig while the S5 is their aero armada...

The S5 is actually quite pretty is real life... i've seen a VWD before at bikehous... and the R5 also has very big sizes like 54, and 56cm... it looks equally as strange as the S5 in those sizes...tall head tube and big sized frame...

look at hyjedals bike...size 56 if i am not wrong for his height that is well over 180cm....i don't think it's the frame size playing with how the bike looks like.. but rather, the huge amounts of bar drop he can tolerate... huge bar drop makes a bike look sexy...

this looks to be a smaller size by the look of the head tube length.. bar drop, i'd say more or less the same as our own bikes...

Holy moly that is some sweet stealthy black bike! Black is the new white thumbup.gif

S5 here is priced at 15k Aed, roughly around rm12k..

Mavic rsys slr is an alloy clincher right? Damn lighter than my FR0..... shocking.gif

Hmm is that the basic s5 model? Cos there are few model in the S5 with VWD designation as the top of the range which priced here around 10k AUD depending on groupset choice hmm.gif

Rsys = Alloy clincher with carbon spoke instead of steel or alu. I have handled it at my usual lbs and i can say it is dam light. But the problem is the fat spoke which will compromise aero and the supposedly resolved exploding spoke that was normal on early production rsys. Hub wise i dunno if the SLR version are better than the normal ones. The lbs told me mavic wheel are generally reliable. hmm.gif For me fuclrum hub are always better than mavics one thumbup.gif

I think fulcrum racing 1 & 0 are the wheel that are "one wheel for all condition" as oppose to Rsys which is more toward climbing wheel smile.gif

you should get one of those S5 biggrin.gif bound to be fast on the flats...it looks much more wilder than the venges... put on a base bar and then an aero extension... you can enter tris...

yes, it is an alloy clincher and it is lighter than the 202 carbon clincher...it's tubular doesn't match the weight of 202 carbon tubs though...

aluminum nipples are never strong... it's just that you haven't seen one crack yet...

brass nipples is always the nipple of choice with a little bit of weight sacrifice...

you have to make sure it stands up to some twisting and pulling...
