nvm, i confirmed with the kiosk people. they said that all marketing directly from citibank now and will still qualify for the rebate bonus

Lately citibank very aggressive in offering credit card.

They are very efficient in tracking people finance. The moment I got my AMEX corporate card from Maybank, they sent me letter to upgrade my citibank card which I denied.

Now, they called me saying my current card would be soon cease its service and they offering new credit card bla bla bla. I think salesman making stories to earn commission.

What's CC Citi Card Your Using Now & which Card they Offer U...

Ya, Citi's Card are hard to apply but once You got 1 card from them... later they will tak Habis-habis Promote New CC to You...

let say the cycle of 18May to 24May,

scenario no. 1
18 May
300 ppl qualified for 30% cash back. (300 ppl will get it)

19 May
100 ppl qualified for 30% cash back. (1st 33 ppl will get it)

total is 300 + 33 = 333 ppl.

scenario no.2
18 May
500 ppl qualified for 30% cashback, (the highest spender of the cycle will get the 30%cashback)
if got 333 ppl spend 700-1000 during the week, then those who just whack the card 500++ for the 30% cashback will not get anything at all.


please enlighten me if my assumption is correct.

Yes you are right. But those spend rm1000 to win the "30% CB" effectively getting 15% CB instead due to rm150 capping per card member per week. Unless all citibank's card members pakat only 333 ppl spend gham gham rm500 per week to beat the Citibank's trick.
