Citibank's latest promo is advertised at webuy, HLB advertised at Groupon

Anyone going to sign up for this? I saw this too, but not tied to webuy (you get extra RM15 from this merchant if you do it through them).
RM250 cash back is decent enough for me to consider.

Anyone have any inkling whether the first 800 customers have been filled for the new RM250 cash back promo?

I keep seeing the promotion (more lately) on the campaign of the RM250 cashback which started back in early June (or maybe even earlier than that). They said first 800 gets it, but since there's no way to know if this is filled up, do you think they might just be trying their luck to get more applications eventhough the limit's fulfilled? And I'm surprised not many people are discussing it here compared with SCB's cashback which attracted more interactions, it seems.

Despite having so many selections of credit cards, Citibank is actually not outstanding in any areas. Rebate, points, rewards, cash backs, etc. It's like all of them fell short compared with other banks unless you want the card for a specific reason like free Coffee Bean drinks.
So the Clear card is like a one-offer card to me, for coffee, lol...but it's not bad if you consider how much you save each time you get a free drink considering it's quite expensive. In some ways, faster than cash backs tongue.gif And that's not including those who use it for free movie tickets.

assuming you do one coffee and one movie per month

RM13 (movie) + RM13 (coffee) = RM26/month x 12 months = RM312 (offset against annual fee RM90 and GST RM50)

Not too bad but i am really unhappy with their cutting down. Maybe too many people hold the card already wink.gif

But usually annual fee will be waived, so okay jugak la. But I agree, this card has too many offers cut down over the years. No point holding on to it for those who don't use it for coffee and movies.

Yes but you need to charge like 10k on the card to waive and you lose point over this because RM1 = 1 point

You mean you can't do the usual "I wanna cancel the card" and they do the free waiver for you? I'm not sure since I don't hold the card, but I thought that works most of the time, hehe

applied the citibank card since 17th july , 25th approved , take a donkey years to approve

card till now not yet to be receive....

the cash back only for the first 400 people....

mean i got no chance already

the promo start 15th.....
*
Yeah, I applied for this promo and regretted it because the approval took too long and by the time I get it, I think I'm already off the first 400.
Initially I wanted to aim for the higher cashback, but gave up on that idea now...just hope that I could get 200 at least.

I tried to console myself by telling myself that the Clear card I got can at least be used for coffee or free movie tickets. And I have to say, the card looks the nicest of all the cards I've seen out there, lol...the design and quality is superb, to my liking. Too bad everything else sucks.
