QUOTE(Alvin89 @ Dec 31 2012, 09:57 AM) Like i said before at previous post. Citi only approve listed/gov & mnc company employee if the person do not have any c.card/loan from other bank more than a year. If u got more than a year record from other bank and payment/dsr is good..what company also can approve if u meet the requirement except u got 2 bank issuer <36k p.a income or non target market for banks. Home verification is 1 of citi important criteria/score for an application, so if u know ur home phone no ppl pick up or whatever reason that they fail to contact u. Pls attach ur phonebill statement 1st page that show ur name and address together when u submit ur docs for processing. Hope this info help abit Not sure when these rules/policies applied because late 2011 i try to apply Cash Back Platinum Citibank reject me. That time i have house loan and CC with other banks. QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Sep 23 2013, 01:19 AM) AF is waiveable, but many reported recently citibank is not willing to waive it if you have installment in the card. Not 100% true (at least for my case)for the GST offset, surely you wont get it. Many ppl reported that even swipe 20k++, but citibank still decided not to offset it. You have to pay it urself or terminate it. If have installment plan with my credit card but they do waived my CC |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 4 2013, 11:15 PM) For example: I have 0% installment Iphone 5. The amount deduct from Installment Credit Limit. Wonder why there is a different. Hmm...credit card limit : RM3,000 available credit card limit : RM3,000 bought a mobile phone (RM1,200) with 0% 12-month installment : so you pay the bank RM100/month for 12 months The moment you swipe your card at SenQ for 12-month installment, RM1,200 will be deducted from your available credit limit. Thus your remaining usable credit limit is only RM1,800. Some banks will slowly increase your credit limit again when after you've paid every month, while some banks will only release the whole credit limit (RM1,200) when you have fully paid the whole amount. |

QUOTE(vankodoq @ Dec 2 2013, 12:14 PM) Hi all, I'm planning to have a Citibank travel card since I think I'll be traveling quite a lot from the nature of my work. I initially wanted (and still thinking) to get the Citi PremierMiles AmEx due to the 60,000 airmiles bonus (I have read the condition to get them). But when I think again, I rarely see AmEx logo in retail stores or restaurants, which prompt me to think that the PremierMiles Visa might be the better choice, albeit without the 60,000 airmiles bonus. I also couldn't find the annual fee of PremierMiles Visa. Anyone can help? I mean, what do you guys think about this? I remember Citibank CS told me (via their FB) that they no longer promote PremierMiles Visa. I think you also don't have option to apply this card (from the website)Also, is there other Citibank cards that has airmiles program beside the PremierMiles cards? Not going for Air Asia though. |

QUOTE(Berkshire Breakaway @ Feb 17 2014, 02:50 PM) nope, the installment comes from your main credit card spending limit, especially if it is 0% installment. Berkshire Breakaway information is correct. I just confirm that "INSTALLMENT LIMIT (HAD ANSURAN)" is Dial for Cash/Personal Local equivalent. It's not for you 0% installament purchases. for example, if your credit limit is 90K, when you buy a sofa for 6K and convert it into 0% easy payments for 24 months, this 6K will be locked in for 2 years (deducting the installments you have already paid) if you check from your statements or from citibank online, there is another limit which is roughly 3/4 of your credit card limit - this is for dial for cash/personal loan etc. you can try convincing customer service to convert your purchase to a "interest bearing" installment to use this amount - depends on your luck. also explaining further for the benefits for others - the main plus point about 0% easy payment is to have better leverage/free margin for cash flow. if your intention is to use it to spend more than your credit limit, you have the concept wrong. |
