Wow , lucky for you..

They did call me yesterday & sadly cannot waive the AF even swiped  $100K++  for 2013.

I said if like that , please cancel my card & they don't even stop me & forwards me to other CS for card cancellation.

Time for me to change to other card..

Wah! Is their loss to give up a valuable customer. I barely use my PM card, mainly using the cashback for weekly petrol refill. But I did take up Dial For Cash 30K loan few months ago, not sure if that helps.

You should apply for RHB Visa Infinite. AF waiver if you spend more than RM100K. Citi must be mad not to give you the AF Waiver

I owned this card before & cancel it due to less benefit compare with CT Plat CB.

I manage to spend 100K++ due to helping friend buy a large group of air ticket to Japan around 60K++
but sadly only got rebate 0.35% that around $210 only..

30K just my house furniture & electrical & take installment payment..

Other just my daily usage..

CS upgraded my card on Dec 17th from gold to reward platinum. Waited until Jan 9th still didn't received the new card. Called CS and they say poslaju delivered it on Jan 7th. I say i didnt see any card saying they attempt to deliver. Get them to route the card to my office. I don't understand what people will be at home on a weekday to received package...

So i gave them my address and they say will request poslaju to route it but someone else will call me back to double confirm. Very slow n even AEON credit card got better logic to offer to sent to your office instead.

Guys
Yday I got rejected for applying citibank platinum cash back.
The annual income actuary mean net or gross ?
I actuary provide 3 month slip and 2 bank bank statement. I need two bank statement cuz my monthly basic is not meet the requirement.
So I supported with bank statement that I actuary still have some rental income. And I believe I'm eligible for the application.
But at the phone call. The person say that they see base on the base pay. Not bank statement.
What if someone receive commission base income
I like this card very much. Is it I really not eligible for it ?

My info: working soon1 year
Base pay :2900
Plus monthly rental = more then 3.5
Plus the allowance(I oversea frequently) its hit 4k average easily
No loan and currently held a Cimb platinum Petronas

i am surprised with that. 100k spending... i spend only 1/2 of that, no problem with waiver.

instalment payment - they love it, gets you in better standing as it is recurring billing for them!

possible yr payment settlement and punctuality and may not be up to their expectations? think it is a prime factor.

Their Priority is Refer to Your EPF 1st (for Citibank CC App's Criteria)... nod.gif
Your EPF's (Pekerja) Contribution at least MUST have RM370 = $3340 Income Salary per Month = $40K a Year (min. Income Requirement to Apply Citibank Cash Back Platinum) If Not, U sure Kena Reject by Citi... sweat.gif

But Anyway, U can Try to Have UOB One Card with Lower Income Requirement RM24-36k p.a. This Card Which having 90% of Similarity Benefits Same with Citibank Cash Back Platinum... Its EZ to Get Compare to Citibank's CC
Pls Refer to https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2979093/+200 My Post #210 Details on UOB One Card

There are no payment problem for me since using this card for almost 4-5 years, no problem for requesting to waive the AF. If they refuse, i may cancel the card already.

I believe since i took installment plan from CT last year, mean that i need to stay until all debt settle that why they use this oppotunity to charge me AF & refusing to waive it.but when i read this forum found someone manage to waive their AF, i called CT CS why some card holder can waive but not me? They just reply that no such thing due to change of policy last year.

Really pissed with their policy

In my article My Bragging Rights and My Credit Cards 2014, I mentioned that I only used my Citibank Platinum Visa for movie tickets at TGV in 2013. Well, this year, I get to use my Citibank Platinum credit card to grant a FREE entry for one of my children into KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge; and best of all, when I wanted to pay for my daughters' New Balance Year of The Horse Limited Edition shoes (click here to see it at my facebook page), my Citibank credit card got me 10% discount at New Balance outlet at Scape Orchard Link. And the 10% savings for the shoes is more than enough the cover the RM50 GST for my card anniversary this year.

installment plans can't be the problem. i had that once 2 yrs ago and currently still on another one.

seems like there is no consistency with af waivers....
