Guys. Im not familiar with citibank. Like to confirm this. I heard ppl say we can call citibank for annual fees waiver. For rm 50 GST, can call for waiver ask well?

citibank finally called back, just need to resend some documents, then it should be all ok again. apparently it's because of me having extra cards with other banks.

i am planning to apply a 2nd citibank credit card, ie the PremierMiles Amex for airport lounge use.

Citibank website says there is RM600 Annual fee and GST to pay.

I called up CS and passed to a sales agent. He said 1st year annual fee is waived and can give upto 9 supp cards that can also have free access to overseas plaza premium lounge.

Anybody with this card can confirm? Worried sales agent simply bluff about the AF waiver and lounge benefits.

If you are unsure of what the CS say, call again. You'll get a different agent and see if he/she says the same thing.

They told me is swipe RM2,000 .... Mine is platinium, not sure same offer or not.

The day I visited the branch was 25th October. First delivery attempt by Poslaju was on Monday (11 November)

Hi guys, got question,
Me changed my previous Citibank CC to Citibank Rewards Platinum (MasterCard) as per offer,


I opted Driving category for the fullest 5x rewards points.


I activated and reconfirm option selection via phone once I received the new card.

Today 1st time swapping it at Shell, pump petrol RM 47, then received Citibank SMS said me pump petrol RM200.
WTH?
My previous Citibank CC doesn't like this.

Called up Citibank Center to verify and she said that's normal as I swap on the machine next to the pump.
For exact petrol purchase, have to use counter swap machine.

Then she said, within 3 working days, the amount will be exact again after certain process.
Charging RM200 per swap regardless amount at outside swap machine next to pump, it's normal?

Any of you guys experience like this?
Swap several times they "charged" you hundreds but then later come back to exact amount?
Anyone got problem and suddenly forced to pay whole amount credit?

Yeah its normal procedure for initial charge by petrol stations on any bank credit cards and after few days it'll reflect on actual usage
