Got a call this evening from a girl that claim she is from citibank. She told me about the premium charges on outstanding balance for every citibank member that just got their new citibank cc and some other things(which she call as citibank cc special facilities). After that, she said to clarify that i'm the owner, I need to answer some security question including my address, home phone number, my credit limit and is there any other supplementary card. I answer all question except my home phone number because i don't remember. Then, she repeat back all my answers including my home telephone number which i think is right. Until this moment all is ok..
But then she said that because citibank has no insurance ability or what, AIA will send me a letter in a week time representing them regarding the premium charges for my cc if i got any outstanding balance. And ask me to hold the line for some record of bla bla which i'm not so clear. Scared this would be some scam i hang up the phone to get info from you guys. She calls me a few times more after that until my gf answered and told her i'm busy. So, do you guys think i'm being over-paranoid or what? Does this thing exactly exist? |

Still waiting on my Citibank PremierMiles Amex to be approved after 2 weeks or so.
Don't know what's to approve considering I placed FD against the card, will check back end of next week to see if any progress. |

My citibank platinum annual fee just listed on my statement RM600.
Last year i remember very easy to request waiver, just punching some numbers on the phone without talking to anyone. As i was long time card holder, i spoke to the CS, she then ask me to hold on while she get approval from her superior. And waiver granted. For GST, didnt bother to try. I used my 10k to redeem. |

got clarification from citibank on the free gift
Min RM1000 spend within 60 days from card approval date for Trolley Bag. Trolley bag fulfill within 8-10 weeks. Min 3 times swipe within 60 days from card approval date for RM50 rebate. Rebate will show on 3rd statement. |

my card has been barred from any usage due to some stupid reason.
basically i received an sms from citibank about my card has been barred, then when i called the call centre, the lady said someone else will call me back, then i received another sms asking me to ignore the first sms. today when i tried to use, failed. called citibank just to realized that my card is still barred, apparently just for 3 days but it has been more than 3 days since the very first sms, and apparently it's for some bank negara verification thingy. anyone experienced this? so frustrated at citibank, thinking about cutting this card. |
