Can we get the credit card on the same day if we apply at the pavillion/midvalley citibank kiosk upon approval? I heard they got 1 hour approval like maybank in klcc but dunno how true is it.

Googled it and came across this (on a SG forum, so maybe Citibank SG have the same promotion?)

I've got it too. Letter says that in order to redeem free holidays of either 4D/3N including taxes or 3D/2N (Holiday Inn Mai Khao Phuket valued at $450 excluding taxes - means taxes are payable) or 3 day Hua Hin voucher or $120 Takashimaya voucher, one has to attend preview session of time share ownership which lasts approx. 90mins.

Income Submission Guide for Credit Card Application (Citibank) :
For Fixed Salary Earners
*Latest 1 Month Computerized Pay Slips OR
*Latest Computerized EA Form (dated within the Last 12 Months) OR
*Latest EPF Statement (dated within the Last 12 Months) OR
*Latest Borang BE with LHDN Receipt (or Proof of Tax Paid)
For Non-Computerized Income Documents, it is Advisable to Provide more than 1 Income Document (eg. Bank Statements, EPF, EA) to Show Salary Received.

They Usually Need 3 months Payslips + EFP Printout... smile.gif
Provide them with 3 Months Payslips were Better... coz It can Show Your got Steady Stable Job (image) so the Bank will Consider to Grant You Credit Card Facility

What is the keyword you googled? I tried but found nothing.

By the way, what is "preview session of time share ownership"? Like a seminar promoting something (MLM style)? and sit there for 90 mins?

This is the thread I came across : http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/eat-drin...bs-3950743.html

I don't know much about timeshare - I believe they hard sell you to "buy" a hotel room / holiday villa which you can then use for a certain amount of days per year.

They also dont care to lost customer. I always pay full each billing cycle & never got finance charge. Monthly usage about 2k.

Congrats bro. That's RM295 being saved. Keep calling until they get bored with u, don't think that is the reason they waive it since most likely u will get different CS agent everytime. How u bargain with them or what u said to them everytime?

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 6 2013, 05:35 PM)
In July 2013, I received a letter from Citibank and it goes as follows:

Effective July 2013
Card Credit Limit (X) = RM80,000
Installment Plans Limit (Y) = RM69,000
TOTAL CREDIT LIMIT (X) + (Y) = RM149,000

So, Citibank DID NOT ask my consent if they could increase by Credit Limit as required by BNM, but as you can see, my effective credit limit has increased.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 11 2013, 10:08 PM)
Bro, you got a letter from Citi where they increase the Installment CL  like I posted in my blog? See my previous comments below:
*
I think i did get the letter but i have no idea where did i put it already. I remember glancing it through but it wasn't a promotional letter that gives me free money, so i just tossed it aside. And now i couldn't find this letter but most likely it is in one of the boxes inside my messy room sweat.gif

This (X) + (Y) thingy first appeared on my Citi credit card statement more than a year ago. Back then it was just RM40,000. I had a look at my credit card statement just now and i was surprised to learn that it has been increased to RM67,400 ohmy.gif

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Oct 6 2013, 05:35 PM)
Yes, because unlike previously (and for most credit cards in the market) where the credit used for installment plans will also means that you have used up the credit limit line, now it is no longer the case for Citibank credit cards.
*
I couldn't get a clue whether my DELL PC installment eats into my normal credit card limit or installment limit. But i managed to find this out in my Citi Online and it indeed eats into my normal credit card limit, not the installment limit. My card installment loan limit is RM67,400 as of last month, but available installment limit still stands at RM67,400 (see below).

Yah, looks like your installment limit is untouched.

Wow, you can go buy a car with your installment credit limit, hahaha
