as long as aftermarket got the product, but usually the cover will "run off" after a while.

long term wise, have to dismantle, wrap it stitch it, cucuk sini cucuk sana, ta da... nice leather seat.
*

seem i guess have to stick to fabric seat and do replacement maybe every 5 years instead...

QUOTE(Saya_Dhuang @ Nov 21 2012, 04:07 PM)
Haha.. LOL..

Of course it shouldn't. But u can always try ask the SC next time whether they are able to adjust that.
IMHO If the PnP one got side explode-able stitch sure, why not.
Uiks, thought the c pillar wind noise is a known issue and they have instructed SC to replace the rubber strip edy? blink.gif
*

maybe i look for "weak" seat cover instead... dont go for full leather as may harder to break it even though with "weak" stitching...

But the motor more powerful than before. The window winds up quickly and faster. This is what I felt.
*

My driver side power window motor was quite powerful when the car was new. Not long after that, I started getting the rubber 'ketat' symptom leading to 'klak klak' sound when winding the window midway up. That was easily fixed with a quick spray of silicon lube but motor is no longer as powerful as it once was. I can live with that so long as window 'janji' to go all the way up.

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Nov 21 2012, 03:51 PM)
as statement above, they may afraid the 2nd batch owner thought it is compulsory to change since it solved... that why the stated "Possible"
*
Bulletin did mention it only affects chassis numbers ranging from 274 to 11391. Then again, if the windows for the 2nd batch aren't misbehaving, why would anyone require to have that looked into? As for me, I'm not comfortable with the unnecessary stripping of my doors' trimmings.

Btw, car is indeed more responsive after ecu/tcu remap. Don't be expecting a huge improvement but the change is noticeable. I strongly recommend those that haven't done it yet to head towards the SC to make their appointments. The upgrade is free and it takes approximately an hour to do so. Did mine at SC Cheras behind Connaught.

+1

also "warn" my SA that i want power window problem-free once i received Preve as that is common issues which should be solve immediately... hence i dislike to stripping my door panel or anything which still in brand new condition / virgin condition... tongue.gif

I think I was one of the earlier ones. So far, it's been smooth. Wont say it'll totally solve the occasional brightening of the HU's display but I do believe the frequency of such incidents has lessened.

A car's starter demands a lot of juice from the battery. No suprise if headlights dimmed a bit. Personally, I think it may be wiser to not have headlights set to 'Auto' before attempting to start the vehicle.

If problem persist after applying silicon lube, then I recommend a visit to nearest SC (in your case, the Cheras SC behind Connaught). No need to go all the way to COSE and waste an entire day waiting there.

Can't trust everything that the SA says. Some people will promise 'Heaven & Earth' to close the sale. On a personal note, if my SA drives a Preve, I'm more likely to believe him tongue.gif Mine unfortunately drives a Vios vmad.gif

Yeah .. the radiator's fan is very strong; blows so much hot air towards your leg as you alight from the vehicle. So much so that I nowadays stop the engine when I'm pumping air into the tires. Otherwise, you get a face full of hot air.

Spring inside the seat?  shocking.gif That's kinda serious too bro. Not only it's furring but the spring inside is also singing? Damn..

If the door frame rubber is like what u said (that it's not properly installed) it's a no brainer thing to have it change.. Damn, thought only CoSE sucks..Now in Penang oso..

This Sungai Pinang Proton SC very stingy one... then also want to charge more (compressor oil etc...).
That's why I like to go to authorized dealer to do service, I know them well and they make claim very easily, even I didn't complain anything, they inform me this cannot use already, he order for me straight. But due to this ECU update things (they can't do), have to stick to Proton. sad.gif

QUOTE(edwinkbs @ Nov 21 2012, 03:36 PM)
Go EON SG pinang. This SC quite good. So far no complaint about them.

Sure, will go there for on my next service, haha.... rclxms.gif

For mine, the rear windows belly powderful since day one, but both front very slow, like motor not enough torque.

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Nov 21 2012, 04:01 PM)
door frame rubber is called weatherstrip... so far mine ok, no rainwater leak.

however, the run channel rubber or watever they called it, poor workmanship

and c pillar noise from the small windows, need to re-seal again, poor workmanship...sigh
*
OIC, I think I will take photo and post it here where the water goes in from a gap.
