QUOTE(doel @ Nov 13 2012, 09:47 AM) Good morning all Previans, Some of the members here have done it...I heard we could ask selected 88 service outlets to remap CFE ECU and TCU for affected chassis numbers. Has anybody done for this? May I know how long their remapping your CFE? Positive reviews, i must say... According to the chasis number, mine should be affected too...but i'm still waiting for a good time (tunggu cuti approve) to do it at the SC... |

I prefer to have it a bit weighted...got feedback from the road...
And you dun feel disconnected... It's important to me, as a driver to 'feel' the car... But hey, everybody have their own preferences... On another note, i'm thinking about changing the stock rear muffler with a dual tip... Would it be affecting anything? |

QUOTE(farghmee @ Nov 20 2012, 10:30 AM) from my internet reading, Hahaha...proton did study to implement the EPS years ago, but they found out that EPS was hard to be tuned to have "that HPS feeling". Added on November 20, 2012, 10:33 am agree dlm bandar, kita naik myvi sbb steering ringan & pendek. blk kg, kita naik gen2 sbb stabil & boot besar. for Pigduck, buy preve, keep kelisa I wish i have another car i can use for city-driving...but too bad...i don't. Use my Preve everywhere... On another note... Depending on your 'emotion'...you may drive like a maniac at times and the CFE does reward you with it's handling. The fuel however...so so only~~~ The harder u press, the more fuel it burn...except for long-haul journey, in which it is very fuel-efficient... So, if any one is still contemplating whether to take the Exec or Premium...go for the Premium...seriously... It has the power when u need it and it's rather equipped with the necessary stuff that we need nowadays like ABS, Airbag etc... |

Just want to share n give out ideas to prtn owners what is inside their cars n how their cars are develop. Bye There's nothing irrelevant about your post there, bro mat79.People should know what is actually going on about this compatibility and homogolation stuff... They should be educated and stop looking at Proton as just cutting cost or whatever for no apparent reason... Other manufacturer are doing it to and they are blinded because of the brand names...it's ok for others to do it, but a big issue when Proton does it too... They should be educated that it's not the end of the world if certain criteria or rules are imposed for different countries/region on how the cars are supposed to be set-up for their condition or driving needs... |

QUOTE(frodo baggin @ Dec 26 2012, 10:51 AM) Just sharing with you all. I had a talk with my regular mechanic and this was his feedback. When Preve first came out - it is a good car, really fast and powerful - better than Inspira Mine seems to be ok...20k plus kms...6 months down the road - Preve, is ok but must watch the gearbox, he claims the show car broke down from gear failure, where his company car was also involved in the show. Daily drive etc... |
