until now still haven't received my June 15% petrol cash rebate and also my TnG card as promised.

applied principal card online under the RM450 raya promo, submitted all required documents which is very clearly readable. But yet, still receive call from Price Solution.
which means I am only able to get RM300 cashback instead of RM350 (plat visa) ? mad.gif

did anyone here actually really manage to get through the online application (Part A : straight through application)?

Am thinking is this a trick by SCB... where most of the time they'll always consider your application is not complete & hav PS to call you so that they can giv less cashback?

Any call from SC?

I had the same experience when i applied for the cash back promo. The CS claimed my other CC are too young (<2 years old) but i told him all were with good payment record. He tried to reduce RM50 from the rebate and i told him to fly kite.

Anyway i tried again with the Groupon Promo, basically apply online and send in the documents on the same day. The next day CS called for verification and till now no news.

My experience of online application:-

(i) Last year, submit principal card application. Price Solution called the next day, and approved. Received full cash back.
(ii) 3 months ago, submit supp card application. Price Solution called and told me you will received 280 cash back only instead of 300 . But I still manage to receive full cash back after 60 days.
(iii) last 2 weeks, I submit another Sup Card application, and 1 week later, I received SMS said the card is delivering to you. This time, I didn't even received any call from Price Solution.

Managed to go through, at least I insisted I'm not supposed to be discounted with RM 50.
Anyway, I haven't made call to CS to check on the amount I'm supposed to get.

It only up to 90% of your total credit limit, if it is 100% then it will be impossible to be transfer because you will not be able to utilize the credit card, since it need at least few amount to be left. The interest given will be 1.99% for 6 or 12 months except Visa Translucent within 50% of your available credit limit. the next segment for 50% will be given at interest 3.99% or 5.99% if only you exceed 50% of your available limit with maximum tenure 12 months for new customer.

Micky78,

The bank usually have the right not to give whatever reason if rejected and subject to bank policy. A staff usually cannot give the reason, it apply to other bank too. usually, staff can only reveal whether it "approve, reject or refer".

It will be credit within 60 days or two month statement for petrol cashback from your original statement. Once it reach 90 days for TnG card, you may request via investigation to be raise under your credit card account by inform standard chartered bank.

Venicelim,

Although I'm sure for that particular subject, but there will be some customer that eligible to take up to RM350 cashback for sure. It already stated in the term and condition clearly that standard chartered bank may call customer if require. The cashback only can be use in retail purchase, petrol transaction, insurance and bill payment, the cashback cannot be withdrawal and transfer to your saving or current account, neither cashier order to your doorstep.

you may approach any staff under employment with standard chartered bank or customer service to check your status. A call is an optional and it not a must "call" for customer. If staff do not promise you, then it will not become a request that must be done. i had seen that some customer received full cashback without any requirement from standard chartered bank for maximum RM450 cashback.

My May one was credited on July 2nd, but June till now not yet. Talk about consistency.

TnG already past 90 days guess it's time to call them already

Yes, you may contact standard chartered bank and do investigate the transaction, cycle date and etc that may impact the delay. It is more than 90 days, raise your hand and call them.

The answered given based on the question that you raised, to be consider new customer then it a must at least 12 month but for your case, i will not able to confirm that since you just gave me a blank question based on the termination date. To get an exact answer, you may call customer service when your card was terminated and must be more than 12 months.

The Supp card promotion for CB RM300 that is extended till end Aug 2013 - Is it true that the max number of supp cards anyone can apply is 5?

I received a call from someone ?PS people? said need to cancel one of my supp cards which have already been approved and already sent out to me! because she said max supp cards allowed only 5.

That's correct, the cashback will be given up to RM300 if eligible, it doesn't matter how many card you get approve and only one card with maximum RM300 will be given cashback. one account can nominate up to 5 supplementary card only.

A new customer to bank will enjoy 1.99% within first 5 month since approval within first 50% limit. It should be rejected because there should be remaining limit or you will not able to use your card if choose for 100%. just saw your attachment, to be reconfirm the rates, please call customer service to resolve and get the information.
