Anyone can advise, I have a Stan Chart CC and my wife has a Stan Chart savings account which wanna use to pay the bill for the CC.

As far as I know, with other bank (Maybank, OCBC) this is done by doing a fund transfer to an account number which is just the CC number, but when I want to add a registered payee that way keep getting error 99999.

What's the correct way to do this?

Talking about the Groupon offers which give free Philips soundbar, I'm very interested, but not sure I am applicable because I have cancelled all my cards 7 months ago.

Looks like my Plat is useless now, not like it serves any purpose la. laugh.gif

Fruitie,

Although there are no reason made specifically, but most probably is to drive more sales for standard chartered bank. Gold card still lower annual fee and yearly commitment, while the lowest credit limit can be assign compare to platinum card, for customer who do not feel safe with higher credit limit or commitments.

LostAndFound,

The easiest way to check and get the root cause for it is by call to SCB customer services within minute, they can check the error code but however, make sure your wife need to do verification or use by phone banking, phone banking is the way to connect customer service without need to go a verification.

Maru,

It is not advisable to upgrade the card as it will take up to 30 days period for upgrade and yet, still subject to approval and need to submit income document firstly. usually, staff will advise customer to apply a new card because it will take lesser period that upgrade.
