rear as far as i know its not illegal kut....coz they mainly look at the front. thats where the biggest change is. the change in the rear usually isnt that big...same goes for kancils, satrias, or whatever other car la AFAIK

Just got to ask bros over here. My Fuel meter kaput ever since i bought it (2nd hand), waiting for half-cut unit to change the whole meter panel.

Now i only refer to my mileage to know when to re-fuel my tank. Mostly around 350km for ~RM60 petrol until full tank. But, i never try use my car till last drop of petrol; scared got stranded in middle of the road.

Usually how much petrol we need to re-fill the tank from zero to full @Rm2.70/L?

wheeeee...more updates on my car hehehehehhe

things i got this weekend...

NRG Slim Wheel Hub (aka Slim Bosskit RM170) + NRG Quick Release Kit (RM300) + Philips Vision Plus Bulbs (RM100) from Kakimotor
user posted image

i bought the vision plus coz i wanted brighter lights at night...and since HID is illegal doh.gif, have to go for this....this is still yellow lights, and supposed to be brighter than them normal lights. havent tested yet coz havent driven the car at night yet.

bought the quick release kit coz i was sick and tired of my old cheapo RM30 bosskit. the damn plastic cover is moving all over the place and it was annoying me. so i decided to look for a better one and found the NRG... it was just too cool and too sexy to pass drool.gif

installed in the car with muh momo.

and finally, how cool is this???? heh heh heh
user posted image

due to the NRG kits. the steering is a lil closer to me now (compared to my old cheapo RM30 bosskit. also the distance between the steering and the signal/ wiper arms on the steering column is further. and its also slightly higher (coz of the angle).

i also went to my friends shop in sunway and got muhself some new spark plugs... Denso Iridium (IK20).
user posted image

one thing to take note, after my experience with spark plugs on my previous B16A...i am NOT a believer in spark plugs. ive always preferred the cheapo RM30 (set of 4) NGK plugs for performance and throttle response. tested against Bosch Super 4 and NGK XV (the NGK Racing Plugs)

the only reason i decided to install the iridium was because theyre supposed to last longer (about 100km). and also backside itchy la....hahahahahaha

Hello.
I'm planning to get used Kelisa soon.
But few things keep on rolling in my head , so I think better ask you guys now.

1. Hows the FC? For both manual and auto transmission.
2. Spare parts easy to find?
3. Is used Kelisa really worth it to buy for me since I live in KL? City driving etc.
4. Any common problems about Kelisa?
5. Is Kelisa 2002/2003 still a good choice?

I really appreciate for your useful feedbacks and suggestions.

Thank you.

I can help answer some of the questions above as a Kelisa Auto used:
1. I get between 15.6-17.x km per liter of fuel.
2. Never had any problem with the car other than the power window runner so never had to buy spare parts.
3. It's perfect for city use since its got pretty good amount of torque and there's good amount of power in the lower rev range.
4. None that I know of.
5. I think it's a good choice but make sure you get one that's in good condition - well maintained.

also a few things to take note

1/ that with any car... the auto will definitely consume more fuel than the manual version.

2/ one thing i noticed about kelisa auto is that fuel consumption HIGHLY depends on ur driving style. for example, my kelisa auto. when i drive i get about 380 - 400km per full tank. but when my sis or mom drives it. they can get about 480 - 500km on a full tank. take note that im running on a heavier than stock kelisa as im using 15" rims and have also done sound dampening on the car...so the added weight has to be taken into account.

but considering ur town usage, id recommend getting the auto.

EDIT: forgot to mention, if ur buying an auto, check to make sure the mounting is ok. start the engine and let it idle and see if it vibrates alot. kelisa auto mounting tend to go sooner than the manuals. but its not a big issue, its normal. just that replacing all 3 mountings can cost up to 900 bux if u look in the wrong places.

as for power window, i never had a problem with mine. except the passenger side is a lil slower. other than that its fine.

Thanks a lot.
Really helpful guys. Really. smile.gif

I just saw one SE Kelisa (Red/Balck) on the road.
I'm loving it.

But it seems quite difficult to find one nowdays.
Hopefully can get one.

But if don't get also nevermind , as long as Kelisa is a good car. smile.gif
