hey guys....i got a tip for those using standard 13" rims n wanna stick to that size... look for proton standard 13" sport rims...

i broke 2 of my stock 13" sport rims about a week ago (pothole ) and changed to the satria sport rims. due to the fact that the rims are wider than the stock perodua rims, it has managed to reduce the tyre wall flex when taking corners....making it much much nicer for some spirited driving... makes the car look better too!! also, if u change to these rims...im pretty sure that changing the tyres to 175/50 13 will reduce it even further. only thing is lesser protection for ur rims due to the thinner tyre wall. and lesser comfort too due to the same fact.

my car has less than a month old goodyear tyres in the front and >2 year old silverstone tyres in the back...and looking at them...id say the goodyear will be a better match for these rims compared to the silverstone in terms of reducing tyre wall flex.

with the stock rims going up n down frasiers hill in a spirited manner was a pain...tyre wall was flexing to the point where it makan the side of the tyres... just waiting for another chance to go up there again and REALLY test out the car with the new rims

btw, im driving a stock standard kelisa auto with ZERO handling improvement mods...not even a single add on bar on the car

as for the white kelisa (KBF 74)...anyone knows where i can get those rims in 15"?? the original VR is friggin rare...so rare that ive only seen 2 cars use it. 14" version ive seen on a few kelisas. love the idea of 4 spokes in the front and 5 spokes in the back.... if got the taiwanese version oso i think i might wanna angkut (pending approval from my financial controllers of course )

i think the size of the front speaker is 5". i have the alpine type s 6.5" comps in my front door of my kelisa. but u just cant pasang like that...u need to add a baffle to it ( a sort of wooden 'washer' to bring it out abit so that the magnet wont hit the window).

keep in mind that not all 6.5" comps can fit in the front door without cutting the door panels. when u buy u gonna have to get one that has a small magnet. the type s i have fits nicely into the door and i dont have to cut the door panels.... ngam ngam fit.

i also tried the alpine type r 6.5" comps but it just wouldnt fit. if wanna fit have to cut the door panels. ive also heard of people installing the type x in it without cutting door panels.

so when u buy front 6.5" comps u have to make sure of whether or not ur willing to cut the door panels...if not then u have to find ones that has small magnets

anyone running on 15" rims with a width of 6.5 or 7"???

currently thinking of fitting these rims in but was wondering about the clearance issues and also wondering about the max offset i can put in...

15*6.5 - wats the max offset that can fit into a kelisa??? (+42 can ah??)

guys help me.....need answers to these quick... and i need CONFIRMED answers.... coz i might be buying rims with that size... found the rims ive been dying for since my civic days n i WANT them rims....

n pls dont tell me to get 14" rims.....coz im not interested in 14s at the moment....

can give more details of the rims?? like width and offset? and what abs/springs u using? uu got use spacer ah?? me thinking of shoving in 15" oso but worry about clearance issues thats why im asking

remove battery connector from the battery.....

extra injector??? i think u better make sure what u just added dude... coz the only way u can add extra injector into ur stock engine would be to custom make ur intake manifold and also drill a hole in ur engine head.

hey guys got a question regarding the timing belt... i know ur supposed to change it at around 70 or 80k KM.... but just wondering how far can u stretch it with normal driving on an auto?

other than bling bling and a direct invitation for thieves to break into ur car...its a waste of money...ur fish already has a tacho (is urs da 850? and 850 oso still got tacho right??) and u sure wont be needing it to remove the speedcut (which we dont have by the way, unless uve transplanted to another more powderful engine la).

IMHO, i still think its a waste of money for a stock kelisa with just air intake and exhaust mods to fit in these gadgets... u dont NEED all these gadgets if all ur gonna do is mod ur air filter and exhaust.

there will be some gain installing SAFC but does the gain justify the amount and time spent? the engine aint a performance engine to begin with.. more like a fuel saver with good power. unless ur going to tarboh-charge ur stock engine or do some massive mods that involves compression and cams and bla bla bla then diff la.

EDIT: forgot to mention the SAFC will also serve the same purpose as RSM..bling bling and an invite to thieves

of course a new car would be preferred.... but then again it all comes down to how much ur willing to pay a month and how long u intend to pay. so if ur willing to pay for the new car then go for it by all means...

but if u would like to save a few bucks every month and pay lesser....then get the used car (provided its in condition)

yeah i do the same as well...my AC is set to 2 most of the time....rarely have i ever set it to 3. and at 2 its fine with me.

its the same for me... from full to half tank its 240km sometimes more sometimes less.... city driving in KL oso

it could be ur fuel filter is clogged liao... but problem is... kelisa fuel filter is INSIDE the fuel tank and i think it aint that easy to replace. if replace oso it might cost a bomb because of the stupid workmanship etc etc

one of the signs is increase in fuel consumption... but its quite rare la...

most of the time the symptom is car jerking for no particular reason wan.
