There are like 4 settings iirc. Low, normal, bright and super bright
Will try to test and report back here soon

I think the YN-160 II I'm considering has 16 levels of brightness and comes with a remote. I saw Pro Images (Shop in Melaka) selling for RM248 on FB.

Ive used video light for prewedding shoot before at Cameron. It was my friends gear & idea. We were not using LED lights, back then still dont have yet (maybe), we use actual sony video lights which was warmer color. Had a dial to adjust the intensity. Very directional and very good results, only thing is the halogen heats up real fast and real hot. For a noob like me who didnt know much about flash or gels, it gave fantastic results.
Ahh, its those bulb based video light? Must have been quite hot! How long does the battery last?

so far everyone is recommending the D7000. Personally I like the D5100 better

It's smaller and lighter, easier to bring around. Flip screen is useful for overhead shooting and camwhoring (i have too few photos of myself haha). I also like the fact that all the buttons are on the right side, so you only need one hand to change settings!
focus motor depends on what lens are you actually going to buy. No point getting body with focus motor if u end up buying AF-S lenses anyway

I would definitely prefer the D7000 instead,
D7000 has better grip, nicer to hold. Dual commander dials for manual and aperture --> more buttons and no need to get into menu that often as compared to D5100, option to add a Nikon original battery grip, does 6fps, 100% VF coverage, and dual slot SD, and I think D7000 can do 14-bit NEF RAW which D5100 can't.
