for leather seat (2.0sx) i can confirm its from Malaysia..
the factory also do a leather seat trimming for ferrari..
so the quality can consider good for forte...

if after first service and do the balancing/ alignment and still cannot fix it.. i suggest any of you try go to other SC to fix it...
i've got this problem and sent to 2 SC.. but still have the issue...

but so dumb mechanic, after do the alignment on the computer.. another problem occur...

the motor driven steering wheel (2.0 sx) should have a very- very light steering to manuover during parking/ stop am i right?
now my steering feels so heavy even when the car stop...
any of you had a same problem and fixed it already?

Jb branch offered me sport edition 1.6sx..
Rm1500 disc, add bodykit, back Led light, led scuff plates, anti-smash tinted, LCD with Gps, spark plug, air filter, leather seat..cost arnd 89k, dunno worth it or not :S

ohic.... i think it's the 1.6SX spec so called Special Edition. i saw that car before.
don't order that one.. It's nothing special + abit ugly for that modification.
Especially that Back tail lamp - cleared type one..

I would recommend you to take 2.0SX if you like leather seats.

did they stated these items in the agreement?
if later want send for service, sc chk the agreement or not?

later got issue this car mod..that car dont..that car change this and that...void warranty...
or...now change those 2 will not avoid any warranty?

Don't think they will state in the agreement for these two items.
If the SC has selling these two items i believe it won't void your warranty.

It's happened to my myvi. i changed 3rd party air filter and iridium spark plugs from outside as i know Perodua would ask us to change it at 40,000km for normal spark plugs cost around RM40-80 which i just bought the iridium spark plugs at RM140 only.
but as i know they are selling the iridium spark plugs as well. So it's nothing wrong changing spark plugs at outside.

What would air filter cause? i believe make the air flow smoother.

I got my car yesterday too...i feel the steering is quite heavy compare to other brand car example vios...dun understand why...i tot it's normal. And my allignment aso got problem. Today 2nd day but i lazy go sc and i do the re-allignment outside. Means not kia sc. So far the allignment still ok now.

But the steering i feel so heavy too...how bout other forte owner? Din feel heavy bout the steering? My car is 1.6sx white 6speed

2.0...lighter @ low speed. heavy @ high speed (easy parking + secure straight line at high speed)
1.6...heavy @ low speed. lighter @ high speed

I think so....my 2.0 steering very light at low speed. So use to the easiness to turn the steering already and when drive my wife livina feel so heavy...

2.0 - Motor Driven - Control by Electronic - Claimed to have better safety feature (if no battery, power you are stuck)
1.6 - Hydralic Driven - Old Skool - Mechanical based.

2. Subsquent service is 10K and 20K BUT 10K and 20K service need to do EVERY 6 months time regardless you touch the mileage or not.

In short every 6 months you need to sent in for service to maintain your 5 years warranty ??

Like that if i am low usage user...in 6 month only touch 1-2K km ....still need to sent into service ? Like that waste the Rm2xx Full Sync engine oil ???
