Just wondering whether anyone has spray paint their forte at the new Kia Setapak 4S centre. I just enquired how much to respray my right hand side back panel and was quoted RM 500 for it. Outside I got about RM 150.

The reason I enquire about Naza 4S centre vs outside is because I want original paint.

Somemore Naza Setapak said have to leave car for 2 days. Outside shop said 1/2 day. Dunno why Naza take so long. They said becuase they wan to good job and mention if done too fast after 6 months can see black lines at places the old paint meet new paint. Dunno whether true or not.

Hi Bro,

The DRL is provided by Naza or by SA? Wonder whether any Naza branch can trade in the old fog lamp for the new fog lamp with DRL.

the drl comes with the naza..
newer version forte from naza.. i believe someone who posted the photos few pages away.
*
Read that but sometime hard to tell whether this is provided by Naza or SA coz bodykit is certainly provided by SA not Naza. That's why I asked.

If that is the case, I wonder whether we can "upgrade" to this DRL without voiding warranty. Any Naza branch can do this? And how much?

Hi,

Any Forte owners in the Subang area? Was wondering which is the best option to send my car for the 10,000km service. From the Naza website, I found the following to be nearby:

NSS GLENMARIE SHAH ALAM
NS AUTO USJ S/B
NAZA KIA MALAYSIA RED CUBE PETALING JAYA
NAZA KIA MALAYSIA PUCHONG
NAZA KIA MALAYSIA KOTA DAMANSARA
KOREAN INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE S/B (sunway damansara)

Appreciate your advice.

TQ.

Added on December 12, 2012, 11:44 amHi,

Dunno whether it is due to highway driving using cruise control or due to my car reaching 10K service, but my car fuel consumption seems to be improving. Last week I drove from Muar to Legoland and back to Muar and after that back to KL all in 1 tank of petrol. Mileage easily break 600km before DTE <50km.

Getting about 7.5L/100km for that trip on the odometer. Refueled 48L of petrol. Caltex RON95.

More interesting is after refuel, my L/100km seem to be better even on city drive. half tank already gone odometer show 10.2 L/100km. Previously I am getting closer to 11L or 11.xL/100km.

Just wondering whether it is due to highway driving continuously using cruise control over 600km or due to engine getting used to engine oil nearing the 10K service.

I think it should be due to cruising on highway for long period of time. Previously never did cruising at 110km/h for long period.

Anyone knows.

Many factor could impact FC. Weather and tempreture is one of it. 2ndly, change of speed (thats why highway always give the best FC)...

Another thing very important is how HEAVY you floor your pedal (yes alot will said i never floor but in your trip meter option there is a free for you to monitor the throttle...)
*
understood all that. And previously also have monitor the instant fuel consumption. But all I can say is i'm driving like normal and after the highway experience fuel consumption "seems" to improve. Maybe the engine just "broke" in @ 10K. will monitor and see whether improvement stays or back to getting 400+ mileage only.

my personal opinion.

you doing it right!!
after long highway cruise...u will get low average...let say 7.x...after another fuel up, the average seem bit lower. macam the car follow previous average. laugh.gif

i always do this; after fuel up, drive long way with constant speed <80kmh. about 20minutes or so.
last night i isi...recorded 505km...with 66km DTE. (mostly all previous fuel up i will get this number +-... )
i'm on 2.0 btw....

Mine also 2.0. i'm thinking also it is due to previous low mileage. Will monitor and see after a few refuels. If it is due to previous low mileage, i will get back low 400km for each refuel. Hopeful it is due to other reason and I will now get high 400km for city drive.

Hi,

Just wondering whether anybody got this small issue. When u press down on the front bonnet, you can feel that the bonnet can move down a bit. It is as if the bonnet is not close tightly. I tried to open and close again still same. Anyone tried this on their bonnet. Is it a QC issue? I dont think it is a big problem...

Guys, just out of curiosity....RM88 full tank using Ron 95 (Shell), my car can reach up to 511KM.

This is after 1st service. Is it OK?  sweat.gif

If your car is 2.0, I consider very good. What's the DTE? Still >50km?

ahaha That's nice! what your full tank can give you? I am trying to be gentle as well see whether i can bring it up to  > 500km.
*
For my 2.0SX, best I can get is 603km with RM 90 Caltex RON95. This is achieved on 95% North South highway auto cruising at 110km/h. Most of the time I get low 400 between shah alam and PJ.

annoying when the volume doesnt tally.

the radio will sound just nice but gps will be hellishly loud at 5 bar but super soft at 4 bar.

Hi guys, wondering whether there is a way to mute the GPS sound temporarily. Or customize the GPS to tell me every few 100m there is service centre or small turning, etc. It is quite annoying sometimes.
