Holy...after tinted is like that edi .....

i dunno since never go touch..but the cover seem to be design to slide up and down..thats why checking with you guys....is your unit flexible...

so if you try slide (no need pull hard), is the cover movable like i mentioned ? 

just get my car yesterday with tinted. The mirror is adjustable!

happened to stop by yesterday at Matrade.. I was able to take a glimpse on the
updated version of Forte 2.0SX in white displaying there..

I found out some subtle changes though..

On the exterior:
1) Fog lamps which now comes with DRL (Day light bulb)

On the inside:
very first thing I had noticed..
1) Chrome finish door lock slide mechanism and door open latch.. mine previous batch is silver spray painted..
2) Door panel plastics on both front doors look and soft to the touch, texture remains the same

and then..
3) A/C now feature CleanAir system logo on dashboard like what Optima, Sorento and Sportage has..
4) Smooth leather without leather texture wrapped steering wheel like in some luxury car.. much nicer
to hold and certainly brings the interior look to upmarket car category (VW, Range Rover)..
mine the older batch Forte leather steering wheel looks and coarse to hold like Elephant skin..
5) Steering wheel grey spray paint finish is now gone.. replaced with black piano high gloss plastic..
(don't know if its a good thing.. can catch finger prints and scratches easily)

and salesman mentioned out Naza Kia would hike up the price of Forte on January 2013 after the launch
of Kia Rio.. naik harga estimates RM4-8k for 1.6 and 2.0 variant..

whoever still making decision which C-segment car to buy.. now quickly go to Matrade Exhibition and have a test drive
on Forte 2.0SX and act fast today !    today is the last day 

Went Matrade yesterday (sunday) to check out the new minor changed Forte 2.0 and test drove K5 & Sportage 
Overall found the current design still nicer then the new chrome cosmetic upgrade...

Hey guy, my windscreen suddenly cracked itself!!!..no sign of hitting because the line is from side..is it manufacturing fault??..i need help!

so gotta pay for the tinting again?

I am at SC now..they say will submit for warranty..how high is the success rate to get it replaced??..scary man..the windscreen freaking expensive!

ÿaya..after this will definitely getting it already..the guy in SC said is a known manufacturing defect...alot people kena also...
i am currently using Cool World RhinePro XD3...anyone know what is the price for tinting the windscreen only? and what criteria is for the "good tint"??

Hi my forte 1.6sx going for 2nd service soon (10000km). Having slight rattering sound on passenger side dashboard. Which SC is the best to sort out this problem? Thanks for your input.

Anyone know how to remove the rear seat....the sitting piece

ohic.... i think it's the 1.6SX spec so called Special Edition.  i saw that car before.
don't order that one.. It's nothing special + abit ugly for that modification.
Especially that Back tail lamp - cleared type one..

I would recommend you to take 2.0SX if you like leather seats.

i believe the air filter and spark plugs the branch is giving are Simolta and NGK Iridium. 

I got my car yesterday too...i feel the steering is quite heavy compare to other brand car example vios...dun understand why...i tot it's normal. And my allignment aso got problem. Today 2nd day but i lazy go sc and i do the re-allignment outside. Means not kia sc. So far the allignment still ok now.

But the steering i feel so heavy too...how bout other forte owner? Din feel heavy bout the steering? My car is 1.6sx white 6speed

Oh ya...wanna ask is this statement true ?

1. First service 1K
2. Subsquent service is 10K and 20K BUT 10K and 20K service need to do EVERY 6 months time regardless you touch the mileage or not.

In short every 6 months you need to sent in for service to maintain your 5 years warranty ??

Like that if i am low usage user...in 6 month only touch 1-2K km ....still need to sent into service ? Like that waste the Rm2xx Full Sync engine oil ???

problem is really dun have chance to use that much la...takkan each weekend drive outstation....burn fuel, tyre and most important $$$$$ and energy
