never. Majority part still come from Korea, just assemble here. Maybe seat and trimming make here only....

wah tyre can claim ka? after 1k km i think alignment and balancing also need to do it outside ady. Are there anyone who had change to 15" inch rim? Where can i find them? 5 hole 15" inch rim not too easy to find especially the light weights one.. hurm...

for leather seat (2.0sx) i can confirm its from Malaysia..
the factory also do a leather seat trimming for ferrari.. 
so the quality can consider good for forte...

The staff at Naza Branch told me if wanna do alignment for free must do it before 5000km..
if after first service and do the balancing/ alignment and still cannot fix it.. i suggest any of you try go to other SC to fix it...
i've got this problem and sent to 2 SC.. but still have the issue...
last friday sent to one SC... quite big..
but so dumb mechanic, after do the alignment on the computer.. another problem occur...

guys, need help.. not sure if i'm the first owner had this problem or someone else already had this..

the motor driven steering wheel (2.0 sx) should have a very- very light steering to manuover during parking/ stop am i right?
now my steering feels so heavy even when the car stop...
any of you had a same problem and fixed it already?
any Service Center owner in this forumn please advise also.

I got my car yesterday too...i feel the steering is quite heavy compare to other brand car example vios...dun understand why...i tot it's normal. And my allignment aso got problem. Today 2nd day but i lazy go sc and i do the re-allignment outside. Means not kia sc. So far the allignment still ok now.

But the steering i feel so heavy too...how bout other forte owner? Din feel heavy bout the steering? My car is 1.6sx white 6speed

apparently...just manage to claim for headlamp...steering wrong order...maybe they order for 1.6...

Very easy one... You ask the SC try other ppl's car and see lor. That's what I did for a funny sound on my back left door He open and close other ppl's car in the SC and tried mine got difference.. so force to check

i just email that pic to them...and get reply for warranty claim in process...
then wait for their call to go and change.

1.6SX using Hydraulic Power Steering which gives stiff feedback when maneuvering steering wheel,
and on the other hand 2.0SX using Motor Driven Power Steering aka Electric Power Steering which is smoother,
lighter and much easier to turn.. which is still gives quick n confident response when maneuver around potholes
and overtaking car..

Hydraulic type is stiff at town driving, very light at highway speeds.. and MDPS is vice versa..

IMO 2.0SX will be the best choice to experience smooth acceleration, good NVH and relax comfort drive type
of car..

i thought only difference for the steering wheel is that when you are crusing at high speed your steering wheel will be much much heavier as compared to our 1.6SX.. other than that it's not suppose to have any different ma.

should be something wrong with the torque sensor, the technician might had touched them when doing the alignment?

MDPS on 2.0SX is very very smoothly light at stationary and low speeds I know..
torque sensor is loose or not connected to EPS system I guess.. had a problem before
when I was driving at 120kmph and steering feels as light as 20kmph speed.. then terlanjak pothole
and car shaked vigorously.. then aiikk.. all of sudden my steering feels steady and heavier as per 120kmph
speed already.. and SC had confirmed connector was not in proper position when they did alignment..
perhaps you should argue with the same branch technicians again and be very firm with your complaint..

My Forte started to have a penyakit already, not even reaching 1 year old. Having problem with "engine sign" yellow light on at dashboard.. and this time is 2nd time..

1st time happened at Glenmarie area while driving where all of sudden "check engine" light comes on last Saturday. Immediately drove to Glenmarie 3S before they're closing at 5.15pm. Found out that brake sensor clogged with water (???) and they managed to fixed it with yellow light engine sign off.

And then yesterday night (no rain, road completely dry) at Glenmarie again, same road.. the engine light comes on again.. !! And Xmas day all SC are closed.. Damn.. I haven't come across with any problematic car before such as this.. even my Waja last time don't have any engine and chassis reliability issues before.. haizzz

thanks for the advice..    will give them chance until this Saturday.. nothing happened then will bring the car to Kinrara SC..

Yes... they said they improved that. Now it's on 3rd or 4th version edi.
Heard that the led is somehow showing the cpu is loading when u turn on/off the HU while it's blinking.

Let me try to ask the showroom again as it's not that I don't want to make it works, they don't provide test drive during off days....

even cats from other people houses do like to sleep underneath my car engine area too but not other cars around..

for the first time ever, Kia is the only brand with all the model line-ups which leaves me desire to look at it and own it..
Sportage and Forte 2.0 was in my list.. finally I've chosen the Forte.. but it might be the last and only one..
unless Naza Kia manage to seriously improve on their staff product knowledge, dependability, friendliness and work
efficiency at all showrooms and official service center branches. The way they handled their customers including myself
doesn't give me confidence. They've no heart to listen to customer's explanation on what went wrong with the vehicle, it
seems that they just wanna do regular car service and then drive-off. Long way to go to reach top-notch customer's service
and satisfaction when servicing a Toyota at their Service Center..

Kia need to improve customer service?

impian emas sc also same ler...all youngsters...sometime they open your aircond/dashboard/hu area using test pen. not using the plastic one....

but; kawtim for warranty claim is sooo smooth.... 

What happens when SA promised the car can be fixed earliest by Wednesday.. ??

SA: If I say your car not OK macam mana ??
Me: What do you mean ?
SA: At this moment we tested, indicator doesn't come on. You'll have to test the car for few more days.
Come and collect the car later.
Me: OK Thank you (hanged up)

Me: *Confidence level -100%* .. Where does your product knowledge goes to ?
Sendiri repair sendiri tak sure whether problem gone or not ??
