Ya, I installed those. The phone can see the camera in the wifi list, but it gets stuck when connecting.

What phone and OS are you using?

I am running on Android 4.0.4, HTC One X. Hmmm that's weird... Anyone else with this issue?

Did some off camera flash with Nex6.Shot with power zoom and using A-mount adapter with SAL 50mm 2.8 macro.
As a general camera think the size and power zoom is more than adequate but for off camera flash is a little weird to use.First off if you are constantly relying evf to frame shot like myself and a left eye user you will be obstructed by flat-bed trigger type (like phottix stratos) as hot-shoe position is too close to viewfinder.Somehow I will stick back with dslr if doing off camera flash.

Still need to get familiarized with handling first as now just felt a little underwhelmed by it.Perhaps with prolong usage I'll get to like it more. Some tweaks and cropping done on Lightroom with jpeg.

SONY retail price for 5RY is RM 3,499.00..
You get it with rm3099 is consider very good price already..

overall the whole package you get now is consider worth ...
try ask filter for both of you lens, see total how much .. smile.gif
*
mls_gamer, I was wondering what is the price people are getting it for in KL, as they are usually cheaper than Penang, I really hope I am getting the best deal. How much should I be paying for filters? I have been told this is where the sellers get 'rich' wink.gif

with this 3 lenses is almost enough for most occasion! i still short the SEL55210, plan to get it when I have enough budget for NEX-6Y set!

For battery charger, i think better get the original one. 3rd party batt is ok but the charger better be ori!
*
I can get the NEX-6Y for RM3,600, same freebies tongue.gif smile.gif

Why do you say I need to get an original charger? I thought it's the battery that that is better original? Of course I am getting a reliable brand generic charger biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Don't use a filter, best solution. Why use filters? If it's for protection just use the supplied camera hood. That is good enough. It is funny that we spend so much $$ on camera+lens then go put a cheapo filter in front which might spoil the quality of the light going into the lens/sensor. If you must use a filter, then use a real original one - there are many fakes out there. you can find hoya 49mm filters for about RM30 via ebay, but whether they are real or not, don't know smile.gif Don't spoil the incoming light, just don't use a filter icon_idea.gif

I dunno what problem is this....
butis better that you send back to the shop you buy asap....
so maybe they can change a new one for you...
if drag too long, later cannot change new one...have to send to warranty and wait them for fixing your camera... smile.gif
Above just my personal opinion..

If someone at here got faced this issue before and know how to deal with this issue pls help smile.gif

no worries bro...
figure out what is the problem first... do you have other e-mount lens to test with the raw shooting?
if no, maybe u can go zaloon borrow their lens and try it out (avoid the pancake zoom)
based on how you describe, i suspect there is a firmware flaw...

i will test mine tonight and let you know the result...
