I'm owner who stay and moved in 1st March 2015.
If asking me, comparing Fennel to Capers? hmm... I can't judge Fennel, but here's what i know. Whatever mistake they had/having with Capers, they will do it right in Fennel. So calm down. Take Tamarind & Saffron as example of this.

Just hope there are no jacuzzi & water featured sky terrace in Fennel, if there is, good luck to all residents there.

hi Nicky, since u hv moved in and my guess is that you are one of the happy ones. Good for you.

I am posting here is to highlight to those who are thinking or wish to buy fennel for investment or own stay to be aware of what are the considerations as YTL is certainly not a responsible nor would they think for you as their loyal customer. If they had, things will be very different.

If you have units in tamarind, saffron, maple or hv frens there...check with them as they are all from the same developer and management company. Same goes with Fennel too.

as community, we shd all share the relevant facts so that ppl can judge for themselves and we as investors, owners, etc shd be aware...

Your highlighted "issues" are certainly valid with Capers. But how is it that YTL is not responsible? Did they not repair the problems (ie leaking) as soon "as they can"? or Do you think they deliberately tried to delay the repair of lift issue? Or do you think they used subquality material in the construction that resulted in the leaks? Or that they did not anticipate for the landscaping that attract mosquitoes?

Yes, you're absolutely right. The public has their own eyes to judge.

Been living in Saffron for 6 years, which we have came across a lot of issues..in the end, we were happy as whole Saffron community. It is a circle, repeated response from who newly join in in any circumstances. We deal with it, fix it with cooperation from all parties. I'm not a property guy nor I have right to tell the world that YTL is not responsible. Capers owners some are from Tamarind, Saffron, Maple, Midfields, now even owns Shorefront in Penang also...why? There must something they believe in Developer isn't it? Things will change, just make sure each condo community willingly to make it a better place to live.

Now that I live in Capers for more than 3 months, things happened and I complain too. it is our right, but I'll make sure it goes to the right people.

Pros & Cons, I accept it because I chose it. Now, we can make it a better place to live. That's a community's power. That's why all condo have JMB.

I'm not taking any side here. Regardless of who is the developer of property, i believe it happens to all developers. I say A is bad, but you could say A is good (vice versa). So now, it is up to the public whether they like it or not.

Some people here wanna posts complaints about Capers, but in a Fennel thread. In the "guise" of "sharing" and letting people know, and freedom of speech rclxms.gif

Then there are those who start the posts condemning the developer outright for issues that are non-issues, or easily fixable or not fully the responsibility of the developer.

Worst are those who have never been to Capers posting self interest comments on Capers because they know how to surf the internet.

Its a Malaysian thing now that anything wrong means developer cheat them.

I just ask few questions and they become so defensive whistling.gif

Why dont discussion of CAPERS go to CAPERs thread?

Capers is good product. Surely got hiccup here and there for such bold condominium... YTL dares to be different rather than just another run off the mill like UOA.
At least developer improvise on Fennels. with Proper Porte Cochere..... thumbup.gif

anyway, no one in their right mind will decide whether a development is good or bad just based solely on what is written in this forum where kaw si lap sap info is available in abundance.. whistling.gif whistling.gif

Want to see how YTL projects are - can lah ..go to Midfields , Capers/Fennel and Lake Edge property threads and get an initial feel there...-

some owners may not mind having YES in their building and nothing else and some other owners may not like being forced to subscribe to YES..
some will just accept crappy ownership because they are very proud of their purchase and don't want to talk nor hear anything negative about it ..

well, can also lah but don't try to stop others from commenting on it ..if don't like report to admin and am sure they will ban the forumer if what he/she is writing is not acceptable to their rules and regulations
