lol i think the 1/144 is just too small, theres no technique to learn, more for collection..if collection i would recommend HCM Pro series rclxm9.gif
im not sure why u mention MKII is the most poseble one, and i havent got a MKII yet sweat.gif
i start with at least 1/100 HG, learn alot from there, i started with no tools too, lol, didn't survive long, no cutters, high grade sand papers, markers makes the gundam looks dull

akira de aimbuster : nice looking sword impulse there, could've be bettter if u put a full sized background blush.gif

To be more precise
RX-178 Mk. II ver 2.0 is the most poseble one
not the first old version of Mk. II that was out long time ago

Crap, I forgot to add Ver2.0 in my post >.> . One guy (living in Australia) I knew in a forum said the AEUG version of the same thing (Mk.II v2.0) goes for 185 Aussie dollar.

AEUG ver is in fact more expensive because it has a display stand
which you can joint with Zeta 2.0 display stand
but Aussie 185 is too expensive

Those countries which doesn't has much Gundam modellers will sell the Gundam at a high price
US also selling more expensive MG Gundam
Luckily in Malaysia we still have other importers to sell cheaper Gundam thumbup.gif
(Although it's still more expensive than JP)

They usually overcharge any Gundams they sold overseas, especially in 'Western-focused' countries. This is even worse in any anime conventions that happens to sell the models overseas.

I remembered giving some of them a shock when I tell them the prices in IRC this week.

Considering we got peple to bring that in privately, we should be glad.

And yeah, here is the text from the place where I knew about it (and thus igniting my interest in getting a model).

Yeah, just like the Japanese comics in english version
they sell it at RM 35 while Chinese version just around RM 15

Titans version is more expensive ??????? shocking.gif
that guy try to con others ah ?? doh.gif
in fact Titans version improve its waist joint & allows it to turn left & right more
but it's cheaper than AEUG version due it doesn't has the stand

So far I just snap fit my Gundam
never do scratch build or modification
no money to get air brush or spray can to paint my Gundam

I don't have those modelling websites with me now
but you can visit one local modelling forum which has many pro can teach you some modelling techniques

What, this one, you mean?
user posted image
I got this one back in 1999 when Bandai first released it for the Macross 15th Anniversary. But to find this nowdays...... I have to say nigh-impossible, AFAIK. The only one I've seen is the dark blue version of the VF-19. Get that one and do conversion on it, that's the best option now... tongue.gif Or maybe there's the Special Coating version (a.k.a Metallic colours) somewhere in the Klang Valley/country. Your best bet is to do some hunting for it.

Can someone post the link to the page that contains the list of hobby shops in KL? I remember seeing that somewhere, now it seems I'm unable to find it, LOL... sweat.gif. medicontherun should try those locations.

Yeah, and can anyone answer kamel's question, cause I'm been thinking about the same thing: where to find a shop that sells a proficient amount of hobby tools. To kamel, holding back on assembling your PG Wing Zero until you get the right tools is a very considerate move, don't wanna screw up your expensive model... rclxms.gif

I think the list of hobby shops is in this thread:

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=118&t=173667

Its all bout Gashapon n PVC figures here. The location of hobby shops is in 1st page if i'm not mistaken.

Some of the location of the shops r little outdated. For eg. Grafitti toys is at 5th floor of Times Square instead of 7th. smile.gif
