if you don't mind my constructive criticism...

first if you are not going to paint which is fine at least put the top coat to kill off that shine which makes the models look like toy

also try to finish the seam line more cleanly...
before you say you aren't going to paint and without painted the putty and all will look ugly have a look at this one.

(if not working try this link)

this is done without paint but seam line fix, top coat, pastel&crayon weathering/top coat... tongue.gif

keep up the good work! rclxms.gif

Hm... really bad job by Bandai.... the head looks nothing like the lineart, or the 1/144 HG. In fact it looks like an MSiA head doh.gif In fact, the whole design looks nothing like the lineart (original lineart, not the 1/100 model lineart) suggested.

Hope the 1/100 Legend retains its original design, instead of flaws everywhere.

And for 2700+ yen? ZOMG... 1/100s are getting more and more expensive, yet the quality is disappointing.

hello guys,

am just about to start assembling my 1st ever gundam and need to ask all u sifus a question.. hope u guys could help.

i bought a g.marker. it stated as GM01 - 200. Is this the finest i can get? coz its quite hard to draw those really thin panel lines with it.. i mean the lines made wif this marker is quite thick. (it may also due to my inexperience in doing so)

Any advice or suggestions?

what's so terrible about the 1/100 IJ? from the looks of it, the proportions dont look as bad as 1/100 SF (okay, that was a bad comparison), but still...ok what?

if you're complaining about the skinny legs, maybe its just optical illusion due to the white-colored shin area. and it's about time bandai made an NG 1/100 kit with 130º bendable arms

Easier solution is to use an Eraser (rubber) and rub gently to thin the lines. Make sure you draw a bit then rub. If you line the whole model then only you rub, you'll have a hard time thinning those lines.

Also, sometimes it's impossible to line certain parts. You'll just have to trial and error until you get something you're satisfied with. Happy lining your model. smile.gif

After a while, the skinny looks not so skinny, still can accept. But the proportion is still bad. I hope it is angle problem, the palm looks too big, head a bit small.

1 2 get one IJ, but wif this quality of 1/100... shakehead.gif Hopefully an MG IJ is on the way sweat.gif

i think although the water and eraser technique works, some area cant be reached with hands
while lining the face, quite hard for me, at the end had to buy the marker remover sweat.gif

yeah, the finger technique is actually much faster doh.gif
but like u said, there are parts where the finger and eraser cant reach.

how much does a marker remover cost? Izzit stated as marker remover or it is stated in serial no like the black marker? maybe i'll go and get them tomoro.

umm..im not at home now..i think it is GM500 or something..
a fully white marker
i got it at rm12..dem expensive...for the sake of hobby icon_rolleyes.gif
however the marker remover isnt really perfect, color can mix into the pen head, need to do regular maintenance by pressing the mixed color out
