Hey man, check out these 2....both oso infinite Justice...how come the backpack is different? Different version?

This 1 is the ZGMF-X19A
Infinte justice

This 1 is very different
Infinite Justice2

OMFG...Infinite Justice Custom is TOO DAMN COOL~!!! rclxm9.gif

actually the backpack is pretty much the same. Compare the wings, see a small part where the "blade" is supposed to be. I really wonder how he customed other parts...like the shield. The backpack also upgraded. Even the gun is new to me laugh.gif

shit...even Akatsuki is customed...btw, its not silver tongue.gif looks like bronze though...non-the-less...fits the model perfectly

omfg, i just read all the 15 pages..

i just acquired my 1st gundam model yesterday. normal grade 1/144 Force Impulse. it was just for the fun of it, but when i started building it, i could already see myself getting HG's and MG's soon..

anyways, right now the colors are really bland, so i intend to do some painting n finishing. can any sifus help me here? i have no experience in all these stuff before. wat do i need and where can i find tutorials to help me with it?

oh and another thing, where can i find Gundam models in Penang or Malacca for a good price? i got my 1/144 normal grade for rm26, and i dont know the real price for it. can someone tell me how much shud i be paying for grades and sizes?

thank you in advance:) its nice to be part of this community.haha.

welcome to the world of mecha modelling.... good to see another fan falling into the abyss of addiction, as once you start, you just can't stop, and see all your money vaporise. biggrin.gif

anyway... next time avoid NG 1/144, those are badly made. In fact, I have no idea why BANDAI made those. The proportions are incorrect, they don't have much articulation, and worse of all, the colors are all wrong.

Save up and buy some HG, or 1/100.... biggrin.gif

If you're buying in M'sia, chances are you'd be paying extra for the models. A NG 1/144 only costs RM 16 in Spore >_> I''m not sure about Penang or Malacca, but there are places in KL which sell them at a much lower price...

yeah! welcome! let's see if your money vaporise as fast as ours laugh.gif I also bought a normal grade 1/144 at first and tried painting it. Of course it looks a bit better than before, but I recommend that you don't waste your money buying paints, brushes and primer. Unless you plan to buy more of those normal grade kits. Save up for better grades.

NG 1/144 kits are made for poor elementary schoolchildren who wants to own a Gundam model, but doesn't have much money to spend on stuffs like HG 1/144 (3 times as expensive), or MG stuffs. Besides, they're an excellent cheap source for you to test your paintjob/kitbash.

In Malacca? The cheapest I've seen was RM29.90 for a Strike Freedom. I lol'd all over myself imagining people actually paying that kind of price for one.

There was once a time when stores in Japan sells GSD NG1/144 kits at 50yen (yes, 50yen) each, because the model kits don't sell, at all. A guy bought like, 2 dozens of the Chaos kit, and made a funny photo of a dozen or so of them lining up on a bath tub, with a 1/144 Strike floating helplessly on a toy floating ring in the half filled bath tub, while the rest of the Chaos has its plastic trees floating in front of Strike.

Don't ask me to post the picture, though (I remember posting it sometime ago, most should've seen it). It's a tedious job to go through what must have been 20k pictures in my unsorted folder just to find that one pic >_>

I oso started off with NG 1/144...really ciplak lar...the hands n legs only can move horizontally n there r no joints...so its like frozen. Mayb this is why i find it very exciting to own a HG or MG...its so flexible n details (MG!!). Nontheless, those NG 1/144 is good subjects for experiments...expensive specimen though wif 1 costing bout RM 25 - 35. unsure.gif

Ze proportions! Zhey art silly!
The backpack canon thing is comically large, the wings are too short (I don't think they'll be giving out stands so shorter wings are to balance the kit, like what happened to the old 1/100 Freedom?), and the torso's out of proportionately large, then again, it could've been due to the angle problem.

Regardless, it still gets some cookies for having a slim leg (compared to the HUEG LEGS 1/100 SF has).

well looking at the colored 1/100 IJ that stormV has posted, it doesn't do justice to the model at all. I hope it's the angle problem, as the prototype looked real sweet without the proportion problems that infested mentioned. But the wings' length are ok, any longer it's hit everything beside it (well, that's its purpose anyway)... the ori justice has roughly the same wing length as well.

In fact, the pic makes it look like an MSiA doh.gif ie large torso, small head, no neck shakehead.gif

compare it to the 1/100 destiny below which has the best proportions among the 3.

Meanwhile... colored 1/144 strike noir.... what's with the cat face ala Chaos? shocking.gif But yet a pair of anti ship beams thumbup.gif

Yes. Yahoo Auction, if the modeller decided to actually sell his customized model kit that took him days/weeks/months and loads of monies to do, and godly amounts of rape monies.

Go make godly amount of money, blow it all on travelling to Japan and live there for a few years or so, and learn how to customize (everything's there, they even have shops that sells B-club or other company's customization crap).

Pretty sure it's Litt Tak (they have their stickers on all the wrapped model kit boxes I used to have), though I think many now import them without going through any 'official third party' to reduce costs. Or at least I don't see any such stickers anymore in the newer kits I bought (MG Freedom, Wild Falken/Wurger, HGUC Hazel and Advanced Hazel).
