woah.. gold frame sure roxx my sox off~! but it looks really heavy. wonder if it affects the poseability..

anyways, can we spray paint gundam kits with those paint sprays from the hardware store? cos i used the Anchor paint-lacquer spray thingy on a plastic part and it looks great. nice texture too. and not to mention, cheap! comments?

its not done on a gundam kit. i was feeling really nbtd so i decided to mod my calculator. and i got this can of spray a few days ago. its one of those, u know, like sprays that they use for spraying bicycles and stuff. if u go to a hardware store, u can find it, Anchor paint spray. if not mistaken its 5 or 15 bux a can. abt half the size of ur biggest mosquito spray. really cheap.

noneed primer. the paint stays on really well. but i reccomend that a top coat be sprayed for finishing. lining erm..i suppose after spraying i guess.

Anchor spray paint can be use on Gundam kits
I've used this kind of spray on 1 of my Gundam's hand
the weakness is it's too glossy
so might need to spray a layer of flat coating on it to make it looks more natural

medicontherun:
What grade do you want ??
GT has MG Hyaku-shiki at the price around RM 180
it's coated in gold color

Well... the new stargazer side story rumors have been going on for sometime now. We've already seen the Strike Noir, the new busters and duels... and now the only obscure one left is the stargazer.

I've never heard that it was an Mobile Armor, but from what I've read since couple of months ago on various forums, it seems that it might be a new MS, or a new space vehicle for deep space exploration. There's still no confirmation about it's real identity yet.

But, there was a promo pic about stargazer sometime ago, showing a tiny white MS with super-long beam thrusters... people were speculating that to be stargazer, but again, no confirmation... the pic is now at the main site...

Oh well.... judging by the designs of CE suits.... I'm not that enthusiastic...

Even if the design is typical CE-verse, the story takes an entirely different direction. Not to mention the tie-in with the coming Delta Astray manga.

Wished Bandai or some company made 1/100 scale PlaMos of Macross Plus' YF-19 and YF-21, that would be real swell... tongue.gif

true, but its not like plasticky-glossy, its more of the metallic kind of glossy. which is good for gundams, no? makes it look like those models that are just unveiled to their pilots. reminds me of the Destiny when Shinn first took it out for a spin.

yeah the top coat would be a good idea anyways.

cheaper option huh?
