yes pyo travel (my) sdn bhd belong to the same owner of reliance travel, if u do ur homework, u will notice they have many offices around the world.
their full service airlines ticket for e.g.: MAS, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific and others, are cheaper than other agents and airlines itself due to special fares.
their hotel rooms pricing reasonable but if the hotel you booked was on request, sometimes u may get lucky getting room from a better hotel.
their tour packages using airasia, is cheap and the tour quality not bad, but pls bear in mind, some departure dates may require to top up for the AA ticket surcharge, coz not all their tour package has the pre-purchase ticket from airasia.
note that, don't bother to call their hotline 21702121, coz difficult to get thru, they only have few staffs, try go down straight to their office if urgent.
they are cheap so don't expect premium service as their sister company.

i feel safe using their website to book online, as their payment gateway is using those 3D feature where we input OTP code receive via sms from bank.

hi guys.. need some advice / thought on this ..

my mum joined a trip to taiwan and paid rm 2.5 K on this.
the trip is on this month 25th February and now she has been hospitalized due to kidney issue. Looking at this scenario, will advice not to go and hopefully we can postpone the trip to somewhere in future.
I called up the so called travel agency agent, she told me that this cant be done. It is just like 100 % total lost. She said they had paid the local guys in taiwan and unable to get it back or postpone it. The only chances is ... i submit a letter approved by doctor on my mum's condition and she will send it over to the flight company hoping they can return / do a refund on flight ticket.
The grounded one.. will be total lost... She recommended that if i manage to get one more person to attend / replace my mum ... he or she will need to purchase another single air ticket (estimated cost rm 1.4 K) and the ground arrangement will be transferred to him / her.
She added that the flight ticket they book was on group ticket.. so that cant be transferred / renamed what so ever.

in short.. if i am able to find one replacement.. chances of loses = 0% or 50% (depending on the flight company if they want to do a refund or not)

if i am NOT able to find any replacement.. chances of loses - 50 % or 100 %....


Is this type of group ticket works that way ?

did you purchase travel insurance? its wise to buy travel insurance especially if u have senior citizen or children traveling together.
you may call the airlines directly and ask whether it is refundable for group ticket.

I'd like travel with my friend rather than following travel agencies.

Five Stars Travel at Pudu.
Promised to follow up but did it last min.
Caused us unable to find any other travel agencies.
Also, require deposit even though their tour yet to be confirm.
Refund require 2-3 weeks.
Alot more better agencies than them and use them at your own risk.

Always exceed expectation.
Never expect to stay and eat such high-class hotel and food by following tour.
Totally shocked and very satisfy with their services.
Will follow either one of them again next year.

ooo .. young people no problem... by aunties unkers... most of the time, they prefer going under group / agency

we need to stop those scam agency as i was treat in with this quantumrewards coupons too.
i look like not secure then i just try hotel near my house

story is like this
- payment made
- receipt update them
- wait for confirmation letter
- check fail because quantumrewards no paid the hotel means the letter just a early booking no only
- check come with quantumrewards they update no have my record. WTF!@#$%^&
- update the prof of receipt include date & time
- they agree a mistake & will "NOTICE!" me in with notice refund date. WTF!@#$%^& not refund date is notice refund date
- the notice refund date is about 2 weeks from now

conclusion that they just get our money & rolling with their business for free
why had this type of company just cheat us around & around with no body sue them

i saw the forum of the quantumrewards or quantum success had cheat us or victims since year 2009
i hope it stop by this year, not to let it continue forever

as long as u got cheated by this company before please come to fight for our future destroy this type of bad people
for my understand that we need to do a police report & report to Consumer tribunal
can who told me the process after this? how long they (Consumer tribunal) take action?

I am just another victim, the person in-charge in the office is so fierry ... only read this post and realized my whole stash of holiday vouchers gonna be waste paper now ..... They were in so many different company name and address ... Quantum Holidays, Quantum Success and Quantum Rewards ....

And the person in charge also ask me to lodge Tribunal report if i want, he said there's many delighted customers and i am the one who had issue only ..

he update that offer me booking again with any other hotel
i no agreed because if still booking with other hotel maybe they need add money or etc case already
i prefer to had a same date same hotel with no additional charge to book again because i felt that this money never refund any more

they're really on creating story & can shoot you (customers) back, this call service?? (they no understand what is customer always right)

i'm not sure about this agent coz i never deal with them before.
for my suggestion all agent need to earn $$ too they'll not very cheap.
if very cheap then ma like our case lor~
i need to compare all other agency before do decision.

like A... flight also, who brought very cheap then end up flight cancel or change flight location.
starting cheaper end up need to change booking date change hotel or cancel ETC. loss $$ & time.

Most of my holidays are good/average/acceptable enough.

First major complain, also on ABC Holidays


Booked ground tour for Hangzhou-Suzhou-Wuxi-Shanghai.
No minimum person as agreed. No extra charges.
Last stop to dump us at Shanghai (we'll settle back to HZ ourselves). Save them the 200km trip gas & toll, and final airport transfer.

(1) No one follow up to chase us for full payment within 1-2 weeks from departure. We have to call to chase them how to bank in / transfer the money. Seems like they don't care (Singaporeans call it boh-chup).

(2) After payment made, no itenary is given on the last week before departure. We have to keep chasing and itenary is given 1.5 days before departure. Again boh-chup

(3) Itenary is messed up. When we arrive, they do not arrange it properly. The itenary is land at HZ
-> go straight to Suzhou
-> Wuxi
-> back to HZ
-> drop us at SH
-> we're taking train ourselves back to HZ (own itenary)
We wasted extra 3+3 hours of riding in highway to and fro.

Lucky it is a short few days ground tour to get a taste of the wide area, rather than going ourselves to Suzhou/Wuxi. Our own free and easy at SH and HZ were more relaxed, and watching the grand-scale production Impression of West Lake by Zhang YiMou

We have had a bad experience travelling to Korea & Jeju during Dec 2010 with the company you mentioned. They will offer you the most places and will make u feel like it's the best deal in Matta Fair. But trust me, their system is messy, and on the last day, we even flew back on our own to Malaysia from Seoul without a tour guide with us!!! Imagine that. And when they advertised, they promised us Sashimi but our meals were changed to Sushi and they said that we have to pay for Sashimi. We created a Facebook page detailing all the events, sent it to the company and finally they offered to treat us to Kampachi Japanese Buffet to make it up to us. Perhaps you can seek some recourse if you have also been shortchanged.

On a fair/neutral note, I don't think we're short-changed. The summary is:
- bad customer service in KL office here.
- bad itenary schedule.

hahahaha now i know y 25-35 is the best period ever...that is the best time 2 go all out in hard adventures...after got baby n family,,,cannot play with these hard activities any more

Normally I did not experience any complaint regarding travel agents although some did had quite a questionable service and all. But as far as I concern, most of the travel agents need to be guided with specific needs of the customers..When asking for something don't request as general, be specific..then they'll know!
