As you use a travel agent, it's their responsibility to advise you and arrange the proper connection for you.

Just curious, why did America Airlines did not do through check in for you? Were your American Airlines and Malaysia Airlines ticket issued separately?

All tickets are bought under 1 booking number, and i only understand this after the incident; the whole itinerary are paid to AA while MAS only act as '3rd party' to transport us back. but to get the MAS boarding Pas, we hav to go thru the MAS counter at Beijing. In Ohio (first airport, we were issued 2 boarding pass only which is to Chicago and to Beijing).


We write to AA and they confirmed there is a slight delay during the arrival and our travel agent 100% blame AA and request us to get refund from AA.

at this point, we personally think our travel agent fail to plan and not aware that the both terminal in beijing are not connected. this resulted us to missed ONE WORKING DAY and also extra expenses of RM4.5K.

What is the best travel agency?

No need to use agent and DIY is the best

Got pros and cons. DIY means you need to spend time to do research, compare prices, etc. And when you book a flight timing wrongly, you got no one to blame but yourself.

With travel agent, they do the work for you. You can even ask them for travel tips, best places to shop, eat...etc. When your flight is grounded and you are standing in line to have your flight rebooked by the airline staff, you will wish you had a travel agent who you can call and do the work for you while you can sit down and have coffee. Sometimes travel agent can have better rates that online, they also have good connections with hotels which can help you get a room during peak season when everything is sold out. You just need to find a good, reputable travel agent.

Ones i booked Meru cab for Mumbai airport drop and before 15 min of pickup they said cab is not available so we are unable to send a cab. I had missed my flight for Kolkata and not getting any kind of reimbursement from Meru cab.

Anyone heard of any bad thing/experience with Confidence Travel and Tour before?

This is company is now operating as Leisure Xperience Sdn Bhd (http://www.leisurexperience.com.my/my/). They are now even operating a car wash centre in Kota Kemuning called Premier Auto Spa & Detailing Centre (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Premier-Auto-Spa-Detailing-Center/171363359564577).

My experience with them:
I bought 4 vouchers from Groupon selling their car wash service and they requested personal information (name, address, contact no, ic no) and so I emailed to them with all my details and also my wife's details to register for different car.

The reply I got from them as below:

don't you know that the old IC number is not valid?

if you can't follow our T&C than don't buy the voucher.

I feel kind of strange when they give me such reply and so I called the number from the voucher from Groupon. Call answered by Mr. Hananta (MD of the company) and he started cursing me with vulgar words and called me china con man. I then hang up the phone. He then call up my wife and started calling her f**king b*tch and even threatened her that he have our house address (how stupid of me to provide house address, should have provided office address). I then called him up to warn him that I'll make a police report. I made the police report the very same night. All happen just a few days ago.

I even posted comments on the facebook page and I got an email from him again as below:

How to transfer from Singapore to Malaysia? I heard that private transfers are better, safer as the drivers are Malaysians signed on with Singapore companies. Any thoughts?
