Would you know how much the lapradei is going for?
In other news, I'm going to go fishing with my brothers tomorrow to catch more bronze featherback knifefish. biggrin.gif Tried feeding one to my aba-aba and the fellow just snapped it in half and chomped it down. It seems to like the featherback more than feeder catfish. It becomes more aggressive and it is also more interesting to watch.
Feel free to ask them about the price. Just like their facebook page 'Arare Afish' and ask. Usually they tell the price by pm.

*must be nice to hv brothers around and catch fish together

I fed them mainly on small live fishes. Sometimes both of them can finish 10-20 fishes in just one night nod.gif

About tiles, u can refer to post #106 on this page http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2550437/+100, and post #123 on this page http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2550437/+120.

Good luck icon_rolleyes.gif

Its hard to get live shrimps here, so i stick to fishes. I do give them pellets as well, if live foods come short in supply. But they wouldnt like it much. And also, uve to give more effort to maintain water quality by feeding pellets regularly. This is the one i gave them (just occasionally) :

Wat is sump filter? Me newbie. Haha. Massivore n cichilid gold provide same growth rate to fish arr?
Hang on filter provide biological filter or nt? @@
My senegal/endli is 15 cm. 0.0
Eh, ur lfs thr gt sell war type of bichirs? And do you mind tell the price? Hehe.

you can google sump tank for more information as there are many websites that described how a sump tank function.

Hang on filter do provide biological filtration if you are using the correct filter material like ceramic ring/bio-home and etc. You can google more on those filtration that I mentioned before(mechanical/biological/chemical).

Below are the contents of the massivore and cichild gold contents that I found from Hikari website,

Hikari Massivore Delite Pellets:
Crude Protein Crude Fat Crude Fiber Moisture Crude Ash Phosphorus
min. 47% min. 5.0% max. 3.0% max. 10% max. 17% min.1.0%

Hikari Cichlid Gold Sinking
Crude Protein Crude Fat Crude Fiber Moisture Crude Ash Phosphorus
min. 40% min. 7.0% max. 4.0% max. 10% max. 15% min.1.0%

From the contents of both of them, massivore will better for the growth rate as it has higher protein than the cichild. Cichlid gold will be good for the growth rate of the fish too, so the choice is at your own, as for me, both are good.

Just make sure your tanks of bichirs are always well feed, then should be ok.

my lfs normally sell those common bichirs like senegal(4.50~9),albino senegal(5~9), endli(15~35), ornate(35~46), delhezi(18~35), these few types are normally can be found in my lfs, there are more can be species can be find in KL/Johor lfs, but not at my place. The price of the bichirs will be vary if you compare with other lfs. But the price that I listed are the price normally I saw at my place, price also depends on the bichir size too, like previously, I saw before 1 ornate around 13~14 inch selling @200 at my lfs. So the pricing depends on many factors like the origin of the fish, WC or CB, size, quality, rareness, the lfs itself and etc.

By the way, I saw one of the lfs in JB got sell tetra monster pellets. So happen to saw it last few days when I visit there.
