Don't forget before Iphone come to market,Samsung able be second larger after Nokia.
Now they try to do their OS for smartphone also.
Iphone have today result because of Steve Job.
Now Steve Job no more in Apple and you can see Apple start going to landing.
This is why S3 can easy bring down Iphone 4S.If Iphone is the best why
dont remain as Champion ?

its becoz this thread was meant for iphone 5 vs note 2 for god sake.

android indeed can be operated by iphone with some function limitation due to driver or kernel limitation.
if ios is open, it will face the same problem like android now is facing, manufacturer specific customization slows down the device.
smooth experience is best to be use on native devices like ios on iphone or android on google device.

n not forget, i did mention about other brands n not just samsung but i specific it as note 2 becoz this thread is about "iPhone 5 or Galaxy Note 2"

though, u should also consider the fact that samsung smartphone price range from RM499 while the cheapest iphone will still need to get from RM1449. if take into consider of telco package (the cheapest package), samsung smartphone can get for free while iphone 4 at RM499 (the latest promo).

Seriously, I really like how good is note2 battery life, really very impressed and I just need to charge it before I sleep , once a day !

The android apps is abit suck if compared to iso, but seriously, note2 phone is way2 smooth than previous android, this is a big improvement from android plateform, maybe they stil behind but they are start to chase up.

why i say so? When s1 s2 announce, I never ever look on them and subscript iphone4 at maxis, because the smoothness really cant be compared to iso, until a month ago I touch note2 and impress by the jelly bean , this the first android phone I really love so much except the display if compared to idevice

And the original keyboard from note2 really nice, I no need to change to number when I need to key alot of number with alphabet

After a month of use to note2, I can say I really love this phonee over to iphone4, now waiting maxis to display iphone5 out and let see iphone5 can convince me to buy it or not hehe

btw, is IOS not ISO.

I charged my note II once per 2 days with moderate-heavy use. Really impressed by the battery life of this note 2.

I think iphone5, always will APPLE product, Samsung price dropping day in day out, while apple iPhone remain there

its the art of perception. its just 2 different strategywith the hope that it give a good perception to the buyer. a premium perception is what apple is going after. so everybody pakat to make it look premium. and for samsung the strategy is the opposite.

how has a better strategy? well, in malaysia its samsung. coz the mass malaysian are all cheap skates. everything they want cheap. 0.99 cent app also die die must get crack app. what better platform to get crack apps other than android. don't even need to jailbreak.

if root phone just to get free apps... then really cheapskate la...

Very true, but sometimes recommend Apple also can back fire. Like if you recommend Ipad to some cheap skate parents, all they want to do is for their children to play with those free games. After 2 months the children want PS Vita already, saying the ipad games want to pay and free games very stupid. sometimes putting a CC on file is just not something oldschool parents want to do. We ,of course, know differently. We wait till Christmas and the games all .99 cents and sapu together 1 time.

The Android platform is good for side loading games and download the free Angrybird series of games with adverts. Usually the shop where you buy the phone will have a list of games and they show you the live Google Play store right there at the shop so you pick and choose the games you want to install and they will install them thru laptops. Buyer dont even need to log into gmail or have an account.
if the ones you choose is not available in their laptop, they just say dont have.

if you pay to developers, they will grow and long term will out more quality apps..

thats why android apps is still far lagging behind....
