what kind of feature you mention in this statement...  and do all Samsung phone get full feature like the previous phone? most of the feature doesn't even get to the previous phone.. what about iphone? u get all the feature on each other just not the SIRI on the old phone (3GS and Ipad 1)

Nokia keep their butts on Symbian till so long and they been ignorance until they realize Symbian is already outdated for long time.. Now pick up Windows 8 to try and sell back their phone...

There is also a statement... if you cant afford don't buy.. why people buy from Telco? because it is subsidized and easier to get.. all iphone are on high quality and there isn't any mid or low class for people.. they only have 1 class of phone.. So if you cant get the iphone unlocked due to too expensive.. u can get it thru Telco subsidized price...

Iphone is outdated? show me proof which part is outdated? Interface? UI? for your information all Android are still using same Widget type and only make changes on the trebuchet.. there isn't any much improvement on the UI at all and just added transition when u change screen... but still on same concept of widget like trebuchet home screen... IOS is simplicity.. and people still love it...

Yeah iphone buy the hardware parts from other company to build the iphone? any problem? are u sure all Samsung part are all Samsung? can show me proof all the parts are from Samsung? all Samsung made? don't be so blind... apple make and buy hardware parts generate money for other company and also sparepart availability.. even the precious Samsung also did the same thing as well.. don't be so gullible and blind...

Apple was using the factory and also the Samsung labs to produce the chip.. not Samsung go draw the blueprint or Samsung people go develop the chip from Samsung.. u never read faqs that's why u biased on Samsung make apple chip... making the chip from someone labs doesn't mean the chip is owned by Samsung... its only the die process that is used on the Samsung lab to make the chip but all the blueprint and chip design are from apple... and Samsung get money by letting the apple using the their labs..

all your explanation doesn't go nowhere and if the price of iphone is more cheaper than note 2 u will buy iphone instead of note 2? even ur statement also are not even convincing for me..

nothing wrong comparing ip5 vs note2. To end user, it's both phone they want and both they consider. Nothing wrong if the buyer want to compare nokia 3310 vs ip5. Both also phone, eventhough different class, for enduser, it's still phone. As long as there is a reason for them to "consider" buying.

Now, back to comparing buying a ferrari vs proton. Nothing wrong also. However, logically the answer is pretty obvious. Perhaps for some people, price is really not a problem as long as it is right for them. For example, aunty just want to drive the car to market everyday and fetch kids. Heck..she can afford to buy ferrari but in this case proton is the logical choice. But that doesn't means she can't buy ferrari. She like, she can afford, she buy.

Therefore, at the end of the day, it depends on the user himself/herself. The reason to buy and the reason to compare. Don't say people dumb because they have different needs.

Well for 1 reason this thread is aimed to the iphone users and also just to start a flame war between people using iphone and note 2.. This thread should go to kopitiam not here just to satisfy a statistic based on iphone user...

very good questions. It has been very obvious that all smartphones sales are very dependent on the platform they use. No doubt, Android brings all smartphones up in the market. Without it, it will be like in the "old days". Have a look at recent Nokia Lumia phones, I personally find the Lumia are amazingly well design and really well put together. However, if it is Android based, it should have been selling much much more better. I won't do for Windows 8 phones as my smartphone, I strongly believe most hardcore users won't too!

That's why. Nowadays ppl especially those vine from Android look at the spec to determine the speed. Wah quad core, Wah 2gb ram must be very fast. But they don't know they are putting a 3k cc engine into a lorry and they thought they are faster than a myvi.

This one I cannot argue, no JB no fun for iPhone..

Nah, note2 with all that high specs still abit laggy. I opened maps on note2 and it still has a 0.5s delay when u pinch in and pinch out. And i open the apps, it still lags about 1 second before reacting.

1st of all, iOS is an apple proprietary OS while android is an open source OS. the cost of getting the OS is totally different, and lets not forget of the upcoming wp8.

true enough that iOS only for iphone, but its for iphone 3g/3gs/4/4s/5 where each gen has different hardware.

and speaking of hardware, the only differences is either the speed of the processor, ram and battery capacity. both android and ios r also running on ARM based processor, even if im not wrg, there were people tried to install iOS in android phone and android OS in iphone which i have no idea on the development now.

even if u proclaim note 2 is faster than iphone, there r ppl will still choose iphone due to the size and weight. or better, there r ppl willing to choose HTC or Sony android/wp8 fon rather than crappy samsung fon (in a matter of fact, im anti-samsung but not anti-android OS)
